cheers all took the trip got it all in bonnet ,grill, lights, slam pannel, radiator and fan lol so yea a full vento front end will fit in the back of a golf FACT

im after a bit of advice with tinting headlights, im doing a vento conversion and want the headligts to look really dark (show use only of course) ive taken the glass off the lights and painted the exsess chrome surround black but still want it darker has anyone got any tips on what i can do cheers

is this from experiance, doing a 200 mile trip to get it and really dont want to get there and not be able toget it back lol

im changing the front end on my vr to a vento one but which year lights will i need?? both lights look the same but the 92-93 lights have a rectangle adapter and the 93-97 have a rounded adapter, is is just a case or ordering year for year parts?? thanks

im having issues with my sub frame and the bolts that hold it in, i thought id solved this but its back again, basically when i give the car some pasty or if it spins in the wet its makes an almighty crack sound and then again on braking, its been put down to the drivers side bolt which holds the frame on through the wishbone bush having play in it, ive had it cut out new bolt in and somthing welded in but that last all of 2 months and now its back has anyone else had similar problems ? and managed to solve it cheers

Cheers mate I've been driving it round for abit and noticed that the fluid gets to just below the min point and stays there ?? I think I may have over filled it too :-( I'll keep an eye on it tho luckly I have a spare rack sat in the garage

I have some fluid leaking on my vr and I think it's ps fluid, it's leaking on the passenger side and dripping directly on to the wishbone bush but can't see directly where it's coming from has anyone got any idea what it could be ??? Thanks

hi all my aux water pump has been making some nasty sounds like whinning and buzzin and been also getting a flushing of water sound in the car on start up . so today i changed the aux water pump with one fron gfs (not OME) although the pump sounds right im still getting the runninf/flushing of water sound on start almost as if its getting air in anyone help??? i also chaged the expansion bottle top just for good measure

my water pump is on its way way out but im having trouble making sure i get the right one, its the silver electric pump located next to the coil pack with a hose heading to the expansion tank. ive spoken to gfs but they need to know if its the main water pump or the secondary pump?? pls help thanks
