  1. Finally got my vr back today, yay! The problem; 1. Starts ok most of the time but sometimes takes a few (like 7) turns to fire up. This is because it sometimes takes the fuel pump a while to figure out it should be doing something. Anyone know why / how i can fix it? and more importantly, 2. When accelerating there's no compensation fuel for the acceleration so has a flat spot then picks up and general performance is also down. Number 6 was overfuelling to the point of causing a misfire while other 5 cylinders running lean. Misfire cleared up when a fresh plug was fitted, and has been ok today
  2. i like the mud flaps! looks really nice dude. can't wait to have a proper look round it at a northern meet. i have dark angel eyes on mine, but i prefer hella quads, maybe we should swap?! Nice car, great photos, Katie

  8. looking good cav, those wheels have come up awesome, it's amazing how far a little effort (and elbow grease) can get you. keep up the good work, Kat ps you can practice detailing on my car if you like lol
  9. i'll be well up for a sunday bolton meet, not going to have the vr running until second weekend of november tho, hopefully you'll all be up for another meet then. i hope so, Kat (@)
  10. The 2l vectra comes with a 140mph clock, not 160, that would be the v6. My boyfriend had a v6 cavalier and it was flat out at 140mph.
  11. Those figures look good to me! You should be chuffed, and like Pete said, it´s how it drives that counts, what´s the point of 300bhp if it doesn´t lay it down, your figures look great. As for figures, every rolling road result varies slightly and I know plenty of people who CLAIM their vr puts out over 200bhp on a filter and exhaust, my vr on just a filter and exhaust only got a torque figure of 175 and 186bhp! (it was a hot day though and the portable rolling road had no fans and let my car sit their ticking over for 10 mins before the run!) Anyway, you should be proud! (@)
