    I payed £60 for mine last month, really noticed a difference in accelleration and when you let off the throttle revs drop slower than used to! It's ace!! you'll love it! !lol

    It's the same all the time. The hall sensor error came up on diagnostics and it does run a bit rough on tick over (sounds like it's running on 5). My first thought too was to check the fuelling system out, but I can't see any obvious problems, unless there's a problem with the pump? When I turn the key it sounds like the fuel rail primes with fuel, but then the fpr only kicks in a split second before it decides to start!?! Any ideas Nick? Thanks, Katie

    yeah, thread hyjacked!! I would if I could afford the insurance!! Becides, it needs the timing chains and head work done so it's not currently in a fit state for those lovely autobahns!! bf's taking his nissan 200sx turbo (280 bhp) so that'll be fun enough to last me till I get back! (not sure he'll let me drive it though!! -probably wise!!) !lol

    Moving to Germany for 5 months !amazed ! All good, it's going to be quite an adventure, but I'm going sooner than planned so will be unplugging the broadband as of April and then vamooshing so wont be able to meet, ! Will be back in full force in Autumn though and after having the VR in dry storage all Summer will be itching for some VR6 action!! Hope all you guys will still be on the VR scene and up for some chilly meets! !lol Katie

    Wouldn't the ignition switch have shown up as a fault code when I put it on diagnostics?

    I'll be there, all being well, although I'll be taking it easy as my heads leaking a bit (she's gonna blow!!) and my timing chains rattling quite a bit!! So I'm not doing too many miles! Katie !lol

    I remember the bug racing advert and the old person / alien encounter adverts, made me want a mk3 golf! would love to see them again! Anyone else remember the advert with all the modded golfs crying because their owners had messed up what vw had created, that was good too! Katie !lol
