    the reason i want to take the induction kit off is that i find a bit to noisy and when i get an exhaust it's going to be even louder. don't get me wrong the induction kit is lot of fun driving round the steerts with it's stealthy sound, untill you hit 3.5K mark then it just comes alive !amazed .and belive me everybody looks around to see what it is. just getting a bit bored and wanted to try somethin else in the car. i don't want drill the box because it looks very cheap and nasty. !ill

    What's the best performance panel filter on the market. I've taken the piperXcross induction kit off, and I wanted to try a panel filter with the origonal air box, but not sure which one to buy. [ Edited ]

    Bought my VR6 deep spoiler from ebay seller 8vmk2 fitted it on Sunday, but there seems to be gap of about 10mm in the middle where the two sections join together. It looks like it's a bit short is this normal or have I fitted it wrong.

    thats what lights i'm after standard look but in crystal clear, i've been looking for about 2 mounths now on the net and i haven't seen anything. ~ if you do find some make sure you gine me a shout

    cheeky Bas*&!d's things like that really piss me off. that's why i always try and wait with them while they doing the MOT.

    wouldn't it be better to take the fuse out for the fuel pump and then start the car too de-pressurise it.

    try bumpstaring it. if it starts and drives ok it will be most likley the starter motor.apparently it's quite a common problem with the earth strap on the motor

    Rear ABS sensors are about £76 from the dealers or £54 from ECP which is an OE part.

    do you need to cut 20mm off the front and rear bump stops or just the rears, wuth this setup.

    That?s what happened to me about 2 weeks ago, had checked on the VagCom and came up as OSR sensor faulty. Booked it in to have it changed but 3 days before it was changed the light went out and has been out ever since. Bampson if it's your rear sensor let us know as I've got b brand new one from the dealers doing nothing at the moment.

    My abs Light has gone off now and i haven't even changed the sensor yet. The wife was driving the car and said that made some sort of noise when pressing the brake pedal which has all stopped now and the ABS light been off for a couple of days know. what do you think? it's just that it was booked in today to have sensor changed. Do you think i should just wait till comes back on again

    some do... mine is on the suspension turret Yeah mine is also on the strut i think on the older golfs it's on the slam panel.That's where it was on the GTi, and it looks like VW have used the same slam pannel through out the range because the two holes are still there. Thanks for clearing the cofussion !amazed
