    anybody can fit these. and if your a bit mechanically inclined you could probly do it yourself. all you need is a 8mm bolt about 4-5 inch long insert it in to the tensioner and wind up till the tension comes off the belt

    the last digit on the ECP part no. tell you if its genuine or not.if the last digit was a 5 it would have been genuine. the 0 means that it is an OEM which is just as good
  3. its at both ends of the rear axle if look underneath from behind the car can't seem to find it on the EKTA .it dosen't seem do anythig unless something's missing from the car.
  4. i noticed this yesterday when i was nipping up my rear wheel bearings. Its attached to the rear axle and seems to just spin around the bolt is this normal anybody.same on both sides ?! [ Edited ]
  5. what sort of oil and where do you get it from.
  6. yes it would but if the rad fans are switching on and off you'll know if the engine is getting cooled.and your not in to much danger of the engine overheating.which could cause more problems later on.
  7. oh yes and don't forget to take the ABS Cog off the old ones.
  8. a pair of rear brake disc £42.89,rear pads £16.39 both made by ATE and rear bearings are £10.22 each all including VAT from ECP.

  10. i had some cheap and nasty champions ones on. i coudn't get them off at first with the new tool. so just yanked them out.the new ones have made a one hell of difference.
  11. fitted my new red leads this aft and boy what a difference its made. then again i might be just me? but i do think it pulls away a lot smoother

  13. the C is a nice car and you get a racing like driving postion in it. and if there's just 2 of your ok.but if you've got a family your better off sticking with Golf
  14. About £250 on maintenance so far and i've got the MOT comming up this mounth so who knows what that will bring
  15. i haven't advertised it the autotrader but i have put it in the free ads just to see if can make any money on it. i woudnt sell it otherwise some tosser fired a pelet gun at the wing whe it was parked up. ~

  17. are these anti roll bars easy to fit. i was think about getting a set.
  18. i've just had a wing repaired at the body shop, and they have done a good job with the colour match and blending it in with rest of the car. the only thing is that they have left the other parts of the car body feeling grity. i think it might be rubbing compound spread over.i tried washing it last night in the dark !alien but it hasn't made much difference. do you think i could t-cut or will i have to get the whole car rubbed down with some more compound and if so can i do this my self [ Edited ] [ Edited ]

  20. Otherwise the Ol' Gal passed a major service and was told hat she was in good nick for her year '94. Incidentally the car was in for a MAJOR service, water pump & timing belt. Otherwise quite a happy Bunny.... dont they have timming chains

  22. what size amp and sub r u using. i want to get the same box but not sure how to match the amp and sub togther and i don't want to get wrong
