  5. Thats realy shit Warren feel for you buddy ~ . At least the rest of us members are nothing like that. Can't the club make the classfides section a Premium Member section only. It pisses me off when people sign-up on here and the first few post start in the for sale section. I know we don't no all the members personally but at least when we post in the forums we have an idea what other members are like. And also that we have one thing in common and thats were mad about our VR's
  6. Malcom how many silencers are on there on a Miltek? I've been quoted for a custom exhaust cat-back for £280 fitted with 2 silencers and twin slashed tail pipes, and it's not from powerflow if thats any good?

Im on the verge of getting a new exhasut as the current ones is just about rotting away !amazed I know i want a stainless steel exhaust but can't decide if i should buy one off the shelf or have custom made one. I don't want the exhaust to be loud, just something to complement the V6 and also look good. would fitting a performance exhaust cause the MPG to decrease and if so buy how much approximatley if i decide to buy one of the shelf can you recommend some good makes to consider. budget of £300
  8. maybe you should check the chains and tensioner while your doing the clutch aswell.
  9. i would have thought best to chuck it. but don't bin it as you can you use for your wheels or for the glass.

  11. This might help it was taken from the VWVORTEX web site it's the post about doing the chains. (If everything is lined up properly and the engine is at Cyl. #1 TDC, you should be able to slide the camshaft locking tool (VW tool #3268) into the grooves. Instead of using the VW tool, I just used two 1/8" thick pieces of Al plate (purchased at Lowe's) to lock each camshaft individually, as shown by the red arrows in the picture below. You can use pretty much any 1/8" thick metal or dense plastic plate for this purpose.)

  16. Help! Can somebody tell if the camber settings on the front should be the same amount on both sides? I.e. -1.3 Left and -1.3 Right I've just had mine done and on the print out it says -1.3 Left and -1.6 Right is this OK or should I go back
