    or you could just get a voltmeter on it and see which ones 12v all the time.or failing that get 12V bulb attach 2 wires to it put one end ground and the other end to either end of the two wires and see which one lights up the bulb with the key out

    i know the koni's are the one to go for but they are very pricey.maybe if put the oe shocks on ebay and see if can make some money on them , then go for the konis.or might stick to the oe ones for a couple of years and save up for the konis.

    i was going to change all the shocks as it's go 90K on the clock and they look like they are still the original ones that came with car. i was going to buy Blistien or boge set from ECP.but i have freind who works VW parts depatment and getting me quite a good discount.

    make it more stealthy and put the origonal highline VR6 badge on the grill

    Just ordered a set of Eibach PRO KIT springs to give a little drop of 30mm and a set Genuine shocks from the dealers !amazed is there anything that you think i will need,i.e. bump stops, top mounts etc. i dont want to leave anything out like the rear discs. where i had to go buy the wheel bearing the next day, as the old ones had to come out and it would have been just as easy to put new ones in. what do you think of the setup will be like ?!     that happened to my previous GTI in the work car park.i had my Suspicion on who did it but coudn't prove it.Now i get to work early so i can park under the CCTV. i think if people have got problem with you they sould say it to your face and not take out on the car, THE BAS**£$S

    i know that its just that i want buy some 16" rims off ebay but not sure wht the ET has to be. so don't want to start bidding until i know for sure

    there about 30p each, i dont think they will make any difference. it's just that i like to have things like that how they were ment to be.

    belive me they are. i had hammer and chisel them off on one side. and i coudn't get replacements from VW until the next day.which was bad as i no car for a day

    the elements are on the mirrors.so might have had replacment mirrors.check the driver side should have line going down the right hand side for the blind spot.if it hasn't most likley to be a replacement

    i bought the quick clay from merguris didn't take off the overspray maybe i was doing it wrong.but it did leave the the car felling really smooth. got some G6 rubbing compound came off a treat did the whole car this weekend, got rid of the swirl marks and minor scratches too.and tthen finished off with some mergiuire gold class car wax. thanks a lot for the help!

    how hard is to fit the bottom skirt found on gti's and vr6. i dont want the wheel arches just the bottom skirts. mine hasn't got them fitted must be non highline thing. ~ i also require the part numbers and how much thry will cost

    i did mine myself you might need to take the air box off or the induction kit to gain more access have a look in the engine section
