Don't bother with the engine flush a good quality oil such as (Synta Silver) has all the properties to keep the internals of the engine clean. If the oil gets dirty to quickly increase the oil change intervals to clean the engine out.

Just deviate slightly (Eat This) how come you VIN plate is missing I've noticed a few VR's on here with it missing even binliner's was missing and mine is also missing. I enquired at VW to get a replacement one but I had to get a form and take it to the Police to have it filled out which I haven't got round to yet.

The temperature needle should sit dead in the middle of the gauge. But the time taken to get to this point is about 4 - 5 minutes I think it's a bit quicker in the summer months thou

why did you remove your ABS sensor when you did the rear brakes.when i did mine i left it where it was all i did was remove the rotor from the old disc and put it on the new one. -
you can also try a Clay Bar or even a G6 rubbing compund. just mak sure you aplly either product in a straight line and not in a circular motion

My ABS light has started comming on and off it started on new years day, and now it stays on all the time ~ .I had it checked yesterday on a vagcom at the dealers and it pointed out the OSR sensor faulty. has anbody changed thease before by themselves?if so how difficult is it, and have you got any tips The next question is that do i need to remove the whole rear calliper and brake disc to get access to it &| (i hope not!! taken that caliper off before when i changed the disc and bearings and it was a rite pain in the arse.) and does the cable that comes off the sensor go under the re

you can get the springs from Venom for about £115. What you should do is get quote from Venom then ring Motorsport and tell them what price Venom are doing them for and they should beat the price by about £5 .its not lot, but it's an extra fiver of juice. Well thats what i did

the gear throws are a lot shorter the the stock shifter. i think thats right

As it's nearly Xmas !amazed i thought i'll get the VR a short shift. What i need to know is that will i be able to use the OE gear knob, as i don't want to change it as it's the wooden one. I know they don't go with the rest of the car but its what makes it highline in my opinion

somebody else was talking about the same problem. they said the switch might have a learn button or something like that.

i think the reason it dosen't have the one touch going up is due safety reasons. i.e so you dont trap your hand or a someone's head
