    Paint and charger. Some paint shops charge out of there ass. Why not strip the pannels off your self to make it easier for the spay guy which might save you some of the labour cost.

    Dont quote me on this, But theres a bunch of wires that go to round multipole connector just above the coil pack. Check that all wires are OK to the connector and also that the contacts are clean. As i have read someone having problem with speedo, which turned out to be a bent connector on this plug

    Those of you have purchased the above headlights, whats the big metal spring for, that comes attached to the lamps. I just bought mine from ebay who claimed that they were RHD versions but i'm not sure.

    Are people still going on saturday, it looks like we might not have club stand. But if your still going down how about meeting up a Tibshelf service station on the M1. Not sue about times yet

    You need a special tool to pull off the plug leads only, and a normal sparkplug socket 16mm i think to remove the plugs. If car is feeling slugish it might be cheaper to get a vag com check to see if there are any faults coming up.If you do some searching on here you will find things like ISV,Cam sensor, that can cause simillar faults

    I want to remove the rear "Golf" badge as mine is a bit worn out with silver coming off, and i wanted some tips for removing it. I'm going to replace it with a brand new one.

    Don't worry vr6highline there's nowt wrong with you car 8) . I dont think it's just about how good your car is, it's more about taking part and been united as club, and also meeting like minded people as your self , because everyone dosen't understand how obsessed ~ we are about our cars. !amazed

    Its OBD1 just checked mine again and theres no pipe coming out of the intake hose at the top

    Can't you just connect the wires directly to the existing wires on the brake light

    My phone is due for an upgrade soon and was wondering what type of phone i need to access this website from the phone. Does it just has to be WAP phone or do i need any special fetures. Not that clued up with the mobile technology and WAP browsing i was thinking of the Nokia 6230i?
