  1. that looks stunning mate.here's a piccie of my mates tt that i clayed for him.
  2. i would recomend it mate, just take your time and you cant go wrong.
  3. as long as you keep the paint wettish whilst using it mate its as easy as riding a bike plus you will be amazed at how smooth the paint feels after you have used it.
  4. well after having the car nearly a month now i decided to get my finger out and give the car a good seeing too. .first of all i gave the entire car a clay bar and my god it needed it. .after that a coat of poorboys polish followed by a nice coat of poorboys natty blue wax(love the smell of that stuff.)whilst waiting on that to dry i did the trims and tyres.anyhoo heres the piccies.let me know what you all think as im over the moon with the way it turned out.
  5. Hi Mate and welcome.thats the same colour as my new one aswell
  6. well thats me just finished the lock on the car.was chuffed that it only took me about 30mins to do.the worst part is taking all the bits out the old barrel and putting them into the new one, just make sure if you ever do this that you remember to take the small springs out of each part of the barrel aswell as it does help. :$ thanks richievr for the help in ordering the right bits.
  7. well thats me ordered all the bits for the door lock from hawco in ft william. will have them tomorrow morning for a whopping toatal off £13. at least i will have something to do on my week off now. :-d
  8. cheers for that mate.will get onto that today.
  9. the barrel actually seems fine.it seems to be the part that attachesthe barrel to the mechanism in the door thats broken(if that makes sense?).will probably need the whole bloody lock etc knowing my luck.
  10. well went to put my key in the drivers door tonight and the whole barrel has just come out.got in from the passengers side.took the door apart and found a small spring thing that looks as if it fits to the back of the barrel.unfortunately its broken. :@ is there any way to fix this or will i have to get a new barrel and key???help appreciated
  11. cheers.plenty of mountains here too. the rims were on the car when i bought it.found a receipt for them with the mountain of service history i got with the car.the lad paid£1200 for the rims and tyres.
  12. cheers mate.lots of locations like that around my neck of the woods. i suppose it helps staying in a place like this though.
  13. well as today was my first day off in 8days my vr6 has been feeling neglected :-( so after a damn good wash and a much needed polish i went for a little drive. i fitted my new coilovers on sunday and im happy with the ride height(after much adjustment as i couldnt even get it of the 2poster ramp at first)and the handling is soooooooooooooooooooooo much better now.
