    simon - you are spot on - i've just found out - very late model golf vr's had a different pressure reg - part number 037 133 035C... later model vr's have a 3bar fuel pump early model ones have a 4bar pump the regulator is different accordingly (obviously) if your chassis number is wvwzzz1HZTW360000 or before you will have the higher (4bar) regulator already... cadders - you have the higher pressure one already . . .

    i thought they might but same number on ETKA for all vr6's...(and some 24v engines too!!!)

    you can also get the sharan one separately part no - 7M0 128 101 @ £26.59 inc vat from vw.... but it sounds like the ford one is gonna be cheaper!!!

    'course mate.. 078 133 534C but it is the same as all vr6 engines - no different to the golf or vento pressure regulator

    your "P R N D 2 1" should light up ... there is a bulb holder with bulb listed on the parts slide - part number is 1H2 927 149 K25... as for the auto box problems i am not aware of any, but then there aren't that many vr autos........ if it's like the rest of the car it'll be fine!!!! this is for a UK RHD car - i guess there won't be much difference for an aussie car - it's still RHS so should be fine ......

    since i haven't put up any pics of mine for a while i thought i better had.. i've been a fairly busy boy with some additions to the car... and i've bought a digi cam at last and i think i've sussed out how to get good pics...... what you all reckon??????

    i had the same with mine - i couldn't tell which piece was leaking even when i removed it from the engine.... i ended up replacing all of it!!!!! probably for the best - i didn't fancy doing that job twice!!!

    as said above the new r32 is much better in some colours than others - silver is the best by miles . . . . . but i much prefer the old r32 shape - much more aggressive also as said above the gti front is sooooooo much better than the r32 front see pics -
