  1. how much are you doing the arp main studs for matt and do you have them in stock?
  2. need to take out crank in one of my engines but have never replaced with oe ones, anyone have an idea of how much the main bolts that hold in crank are from vw? cheers
  3. c2 all the way.. CALL them numbers on there website, they provide chips for chargers and there software is great.

Hi guys and girls after selling my mk2vr6 Supercharged about 18 months ago i decided to build this. its a golf mk3 highline with 2.9 bottom end built with all ARP hardware, 9:1 compression ratio and a T60-1 .63 Turbo. she makes around 350bhp at only 11.5 psi, and the C2 software management will allow for upto around 18-19psi which should make 400bhp, but as its a daily driver and pretty scary fast as it is at 11psi so left it at that for now, its animalistic under boost!! spec includes: Engine: 2.9 vr6 Turbo 2.9 bottom end rebuilt with new chains/tensioners and: ARP head bolts ARP Rod bolts
  5. use the metal headgasket from a sharan vw part number 021 103 383 N 3 layered gasket, i got rid of the middle layer for a steel spacer 9:1cr running 11psi boost 11k miles no probs as it goes i just bought another one today for the 2.9 bottom end just under £50
  6. 6 speed cars get rr'd in 5th as kev said, in 4th gear the input shaft of the gearbox turns at the same speed as the output shafts givin a 1:1 ratio so 4th shouldav been used. while were on the subject of demolishing cars lol how surprised do you think the owner of this s2000 felt... and once i got traction properly, i started to catch this supercharged monaro, if i ever caught him from a rolling start, would love to see what happens... iv got 2.9 bottom end going in now, im gonna keep everthing else the same and see if i can feel much differance oh yeh power with 9 psi, stage 2 8psi vorte
  7. as the title says realy, wana kno if the big end shells from the 2.8 golf will fit in a 2.9 bottom end from the corrado... cheers
  8. i can 2nd the c2 turbo map, very good in all areas. i might even get the n/a map too for my n/a mk2vr6, how much is the chip for this c2uk??
  9. the c2 chip is not mapped for those injectors also are you still using the standard 3" maf try rob at perfect touch near london, strictly dubs recently had a vr6T mapped there and i kno people with porsches and skylines who are happy with his maps just another option
  10. thats weird because how can you just plug the original chip in and its fine with the 440cc green tops? when first fitting the c2 software you do need atleast 4-5 coldstarts for it to adapt the throttle and idle i think but you shouldnt see black smoke out the back well i didnt with mine anyway. sounds silly but where have you located your maf? are you using the 3bar fpr? have you put the right chip into the enscription module then plugged it into the ecu socket?
  11. chargers run off the cranck pulley, the vortech and Z chargers only produce there max boost just before the limiter and as seaid rise with the revs, faster the revs go faster the charger spins thus creating more boost. in higher gears ur revs build up slower therefore so will your boost
  12. have purchased a lighter flywheel form the states and aparantly i need longer flywheel bolts. anyone have any idea where i can source these? komi
