  1. right i cant say for sure but i have a 2.0 16v engine that has 1 fitted and that has replaced the darker of the 2 sensors so i would go with the blue 1 however if its wrong it wont hurt your engine it will just bring oil light on at which point you will know its the other sensor it will not affect the actual oil pressure so you wont harm engine.
  2. mmm that does make a lot of sense 28v6r im just surpised it doesnt whine under acceleration aswell because id have thought its under more load then however due to latter part of initial thread id still say that a bit of it is thrust bearing aswell tbh i should have spent a little more time reading first part of initial thread.sorry fab il concentrate harder in future i dont like giving wrong advice.

  4. are you trying to put a seperate vdo oil gauge in car if so you need a t-piece so you can connect new sensor and still keep old sensor aswell then you remove either of tth two sensors screw in t-piece screw old sensor you removed into t-piece then screw new 5bar sensor into other side of t-piece reason being that otherwise your oil light will keep coming on.

  17. water pump sits directly under your auxillery belt tensioner and they are quite common for going and it does sound like this is prob but changing can be a bit ov a twat as you need to loosen engine mounts and raise that side ov engine to remove and refit it.
  18. must admit your water problem sounds more like just water pump which is common fault and sits just under head line under auxillery belt tensioner i would get some1 to do headgasket check b4 committing yourself to an expensive job mate.
