pittuf koni shock inserts are the actual shock absorbers inside the main fk housings you should have seperate pieces ov rubber that slide over the shiny part ov shock absorber these are bumpstops if they havent come with kit you need to obtain some or your ride will bang you around like you driving on solid wheels with no tyres he he he

yes you can get battery checked most places that sell car batteries have a tool that just pushes onto batt terminals and tells you condition ov battery .also there is many things that can cause battery drain if head gasket has just been done have a quick check that all wires connected to engine are good and connected properly specially the earths ,but iv also known relays, alarms and on 1 car a fault with the central locking to drain the battery ,also if battery is dead low can cause car not to run pukka cos its not getting right amount of power for spark and fuel pump etc.etc.

yo guys the arrow is to let you know which way is forward i know its a little confusing because it is at bottom ov wheel so i thought id point that out also if petes brakes are fitted correctly the dust is all getting dragged to centre hub when braking which im positive is wrong the idea ov these discs is to disperse the dust outwards from disc not into centre.

just thought id add my tuppence worth ive known worn engine mounts and knackered diffs to also cause this kind ov problem.

he he but it depends on which disc you put on which side if you put left disc on right hand side the subsequent arrow will be facing the wrong way if that makes any sence.

Well after reading your original thread a little better i can think ov numerous other things that could possibly cause your probs your best bet would be to get vag fault finder on it if you havnt already cos you could end up spending loads ,personally im not convinced on pump though ive only known em to die but like i said earlier im not saying that its not the pump just i would get car diagnosed before lashing out for new pump.

oh and the holes are already in bonnet for the screw pot rivet ones you just remove the rubber from front ov bonnet underside and the clip holes yhat hold the rubber on are your holes fot fitting spoiler.

there his heaps more work involved in weld on version and has to be done by proffessional whereas the the other type you can fit yourself without too much effort as long as you ok with a spray can you just spray spoiler the colour you want it and either screw or pot rivet on.

its worth checking your injectors too mate ,also fuel filter cos if its getting blocked it will put more strain on pump and make it whine too.im not saying its not the pump cos it could well be but id check the others 1st cos they are a lot cheaper and easier to replace.

depends wot your after mate if you look at ollys car in his pictures he has the screw or pot rivet on version so does vrmonster in his signature pic above if you want it to look smooth with no join and generally a lot deeper like the blue one with feature car written on it in gallery you need weld on 1 .

yo bin id defo agree with dubloke if its sound quality you are after pioneer are defo better sound quality ,easier to use and give you lots more control over your sound ,The old 1990s sonys were really good but now days they just knock em together and chuck em out and sound quality is really poor on them.just thought id chuck my opinion in .

Well i just been on trip to dover and back, anyways just after exiting the dartford tolls on my way down im cruising at about 90 and i look in my mirror and theres a black subaru trying to push me up the road, ie virtually touching my back bumper, so i think oh well what the heck and put me foot down, undertake the couple ov cars doing wrong speed in fast lane when other lanes are clear and im off, he obviously felt my golf was no match for his scooby and starts to follow so i take her right up 120 130 140 he not keeping up so well anymore,then traffic starts building again so i have to slow a

its just a little garage in stoke mate that does repairs they had to order it in special for me cos mine was knackered its not that type ov place to do mailorder and i must agree with kev and acf ie the oe ones are crap and vibra techs is defo the way to go allthough i was led to believe they were a lot dearer than 70 so im gonna look into that tomorrow cos id much rather have a vt 1 .

seems crazy to me but ive just been on 500 mile round trip as i set off i popped into my local petrol garage filled up and thought id check tyres they was all a bit different only 1 or 2 psi but they was down round the 30 psi area i stuck all 4 on 35 psi and it seems to have cured my prob car now brakes straight even from 140 he he. seems mad that this could be prob but worth a look only takes couple ov mins.
