  1. Yep! and what body mods are required also??? I think you'll find that the wings may require modifying I'm not sure, but I'm sure if you use photosuite, it will give you a rough idea how the car would look and what else to remove to make it look a part of the car au naturale...Go for it I say 8o) and to "L" with scorn & ridicule.... whoever they are??

    Headlining?

Here's one for you all.... The Interior to my Passat is what's known as "Sahara" a very light biege, almost sand coloured velour. The previous owner was a smoker ~ , doesn't look heavy, but the roof lining is minging with what can only be descibed as "water" marks etc. &| .( Hopefully it's water....Paula maybe able to provide a few suggetsions !ill !) My question is this.......How do you clean this?? :? Any Ideas??
  7. Hey Pete... The tool that you bought... does it only remove the leads or can it be used to remove the plugs as well?? Reason: I need to do my plugs and I'm terrified of the Ol' siezed plugs routine as the car hasn't been serviced to well in it's past and it's overdue... Just curious Buddie that's all....
  8. There's alway one....... isn't there?? I hate bloody show offs... 8o) [ Edited Tue Jun 29 2004, 11:54AM ]
  9. Night.... lights on or lights out?
  10. Stuttering could be any of the following 1/ Ht side i.e Leads, plugs etc 2/ Fuel side, pump on poor delivery, fuel regulator faulty or filter breaking down and cloging the feed line. 3/ Faulty fuel relay, making & breaking common problems on golfs & raddos. Try that and see what you think....
  11. Yeah, and and then wrap it in a "Wader" for good measure Lols 8o) !dodge

  15. "Mad Doodah" has a good Idea though...... seeing as its a hot air needle type MAF, have a look in the MAF for the needle, you should see it quite clearly....if its not there sandwiched between two "V" shaped supports.... try that fur a looksee

  19. Verrrrrry! and I've got one!! although, that one's a MK3 mine's the better model, the MK4 . Apparently there are only 53 Estates in the country in MK 4 Form, dunno how true that is But my Stealer thinks mine is still an engine conversion everytime he sees it!!!.. [ Edited Fri Jun 25 2004, 02:18PM ]
  20. Yep! It is... The Fuel relay is located bottom right of the fuse box, nearest the door and the voltage stabiliser relay is located upper row middle somewhere. Try that...
  21. Can I see what you're referring to?? Ordinarily I would make some smutty comment about you not wearing a "Skirt" or summat like that but I'll refrain on this case... However how about this for a solution...... How about using a paint stripper gun gently to "Straighten" the plastic, it is afterall only heavy plastic so it should be mouldable and therefore go back into place... Next, Clean the surrounding area THOROUGHLY with Celly Thinners, DON'T WORRY it won't remove the paint just any dirt or polish ONLY, making sure the area is well spotless and dry!! Next you have two options here.... 1/ Pe
  22. Errrrrmmm Yep!! fuel relay and voltage stabiliser relay.... Common problem apparently, mine did this on a Passat recently, see archives somewhere(?) in it it lists the parts you require. Mine could be timed sitting for approx 3 mins then all would return to normal as if nothing had happened. Try that see how you go....
  23. Paula?? What do you make of this? and do you think that a great many of them are over exaggerated, worn and a little Flacid around the edges making for a poor "Change" on top Oooooppps Scrub that , I mean into top ( Edit button don't work!! Damn!) Or is it that Size doesn't matter for a great shift anyway, what d' think??... [ Edited Thu Jun 24 2004, 11:51AM ]
