  1. Hey Acf...There's a "possible" for a talented chappie like yourself, at least whilst yours is off road...
  2. You can of course polish it as you did then apply 2-3 coats of laquer to the box, making sure all oriffices are sealed before spraying, then apply, remember to wet n' dry after each coat to obtain that shine you want....
  3. Over how far are we talking that the steering pulls to the left?? Any Ideas... The light heavy symptoms that is refered to else where is the rack failing, although still operating undernormal circumstances I'm afraid that it's on it's way out..... A heavy feel on the steering however is the opposite, the power steering pump is failing by not delivering enough pressure to the system.. Best thing to start off with is phone VAG technical help desk, and ask for the recommended settings via the manual that they would use for the car (Or rather SHOULD use for the car!!!) Then pay for the stealer to
  4. Okay Peeps, I've noticed some of you people obtain what I'd term a watery Shine, Not poor by any stretch of the imagination, but rather more "mirror" shiney, so much so that the surface looks almost like water, it's generally more noticable on dark cars than light... My problem therefore is this, I'm trying to obtain the same shine on my dads Indigo Blue Bora. I've seen it on another Bora on the same colour but I can't seem to get the same Sheen... I've used Autoglym Silicone Resin Polish followed by Extra Gloss, I've tried Meguiars with worse results, and Zymol doesn't seem to crack it eithe

  10. For all that they cost from GSF I'd say yes, probably worth doing both....As to bushes (Paula, where are you when your needed??? %-6 ) Not unless you intend to remove other parts i.e track control arms etc, then I'd say yes go ahead, but all you'd be doing at the moment is adding to the bill instead of gaining from the parts fitted i.e others knackered......

  19. Can I share with you... I just read the same..."Brake Fluid resevoir, DOH!!! Not Power steering, although my answer is still correct that air in the system will Cause problems.... TAXI !!!!!!
