Yep! there's plenty of them around, I sympathise with you, so my advice is have a cool one, chill, even give the Ol' girl a polish and think what might have been..... at least you didn't hare off after him and find yourself in the middle of no where or worse a crowd of his Muppets....or did you?? Either way you survived to tell the tale...

On a different tack... what about anti roll bar bushes are they worn at all or are the the poly bushes?? it maybe a worth while excercise to replace these with standard bushes....Just a thought..

Alarm was disconnected due to imobiliser kicking in during AA inspection, eventually removed...so I know it ain't the alarm te...he (unless the cars called "Christine" !alien and is experiencing "phantom" signals %-6 !dodge ~ )

When EXACTLY did this occur? i.e start up or was the engine warm or just warming up or what?? what was the outside temp?? cold, cool, frosty or what? It does sound like condensation above anything else, but still keep an eye %-6 on yer fluids for a while anyway...

Anybody got any ideas what might be causing the above?? My front drivers window has a mind of its own, put it down and it activates all on it's own and returns to the top, a pain in the ass if you've to stop and pay a toll bridge or summat...yeah! I know DON'T STOP lols, but seriously it's a pain in the Butt as no sooner than it's down fully then, it'll go straight back up! AAAARRRRRRRRRGGGHHHHH! ~ ~ Help! P.S it has the one touch facility, also it's in reverse i.e down is"UP" and up is "DOWN" .....Grrrrrrrrrrr ~ ~ [ Edited ]

Did you have the vehicle tracked??? Alot of people make the mistake of just fitting the suspension without having the castor/camber & tracking done, this would account for the trashy ride that you describe... Does the car "dance" or jump in any direction when it hits a bump or pot hole?? (feels like, although drives straight at the wheel) if so I'd try that, it's around £70 notes from the stealers, YOU WILL BE IMPRESSED, I kid you not, it makes the car handle so much better as the machine is called a Hunter Aligner and takes into account all of the above and resets the "T" in the steering

Firstly there was a little confusion here... Peter, I didn't know that you had Two alias's, I was unaware that you operated under Admin/VR6Pete, the mistake I made here was I assumed that there was another reply other than yourself, being "funny" about the purchasing of parts, I didn't realise it was yourself.... Check and see that the calipers are sliding in the pins correctly ~ , also check that either of the calipers are not siezed ~ , two of the common causes of "Copious amounts of dust!! &|

Try your local spray shops before jumping the gun here you may be surprised, because remember that the "chip" companies have to fade or bloom the paint in order to make the paint match and blend in to the surrounds, wherby for the 40-50 notes you may be able to get the whole panel fully paint i.e individually... I have a friend up here that is superb at "blending" ask him to paint a full motor and that's a different tale... &|

Okay people.... I've looked the archives on this and all I can find is "How To" on the Aux Fuel pump...But has anyone actually tackled the main pump, which I presume is on the front end of the block (No1 cyl, nearest the chassis rail, drivers side) It's looking like an engine out Jobby to replace as mine has started leaving deposits of good G11 on the ground &| , if it is, what else should I be looking for/tackling if the engine is out? And is it an easy fix, what costs are involved?? x) :@

Just get Better and Better!! Peeps, Guess who just gave an R32 a pasting on the M8 in the early hours of this morning....He...He...He ..... ME!!!!! Bugger cut out on me without an indicator ~ , straight into the middle lane from the slip road, hard up the ass of the vehicle in front, wasn't a happy bunny as I'd stomp on the brakes to slow down, both doing around 80mph at the time! Next I go to overtake and get by, and the bugger does it again!!! Cuts out at 90mph without indicator and dabs the brakes ~ ~ .....Bo***cks I thought, your getting it..... Headlights on and off we go....... Eit

He...he...he...Fun! Go fur it... I had it done on a 200 Turbo and it increased the torque of the engine and is immense fun... don't expect mega bhp but do expect a better pulling power...... and the best I found was a place in Nottingham called Reade Engineering, Guys name is John Reade and he's the Dawgs Doodahs with Audi/VW engines.. Make sure that when porting'n Polishing that a spiral groove is carved into the metal, the causes the gases to spiral away quicker... Good Luck!!
