I have also just been informed by one of my mates from work a smart repairer. That after servicing his v6 vectra and putting front end back together after a bump. Plus I also fixed his van (wich he needs for work). That he now doesn't want to refurb my wheels moral of the story fuck everyone else and you will have time to do your own thing.2 points

I don't want to know how you get herpes from a scrap yard. Are you going after dark? With a "dog"?2 points

Long time lurker. Said I'd throw this up. Currently a 1.4, with a VR donor in the shed going in on the 18th of this month. Mine is the black one. Mo2 points

Have you tried in bolting both shocks & letting the axle drop down so you can get at them properly? That's what I do everytime I need to work on the rear calipers as there's just no room otherwise. If you lower the axle right down you should be able to hammer an old, slightly oversize torx bit in then undo that.1 point

I'm the same, just enough to do the basics. Or remove the front bumper if I need to call the AA1 point

Yeh I always drive round with some basic tools in the back, touch wood I've never needed them. Would love to keep the boot completely out but you know as soon as I take the tools out I'll break down lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

The front springs are cut on it...(previous owner) I don't intend on keeping it running that low so will raise it up quite a lot once its all done...im hoping. haha. rough riding doesnt bother me as i run a low car as my daily anyway. 15mm spacers then it is if i can find some cheap ones. Will be rolling the arches at some point when I get my roller back....1 point

Good luck for the MOT mate. Plus always useful too have tools on standby1 point -
Should be fairly easy mate. I've never had it take longer than an hour to remove & replace both bumpers. Just make sure you undo everything & have another pair if hands there for realigning the new ones, they're not heavy but just a bit cumbersome to manoeuvre on your own.1 point

I thought that but could be because the other side is so low, with being a solid axle it could be pulling it down.... If that makes sense?1 point

Cheers mate although a few tools are back in the boot lol. Yeh I think it really suits black and I think it looks smart on red too. Should be going for mot then taxed next week Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Parametric equalizers are effective when shaping the tone of an audio signal. The controls allow for the user to be precise in selecting a frequency to boost or cut, which is helpful if the signal is feeding back or has an unpleasant overtone. CALICO maybe u should learn how to use google my friend before u go about insulting people1 point

I paid 100 and got k+n induction kit with maf spare isv pair if bumpers and the wheels and few other bits and bobs. Turns out my cousins wife used to have a vr6 years ago and their shed was full if bits. As for the tyres completely lucky that someone bought a car from the showroom next door and wanted new tyres so I got the old ones with plenty of life left in.1 point

Well stil plodding on with this ,did a little bit this weekend and after finding a great build on vortex I have changed how I'm routing the boost pipes to give the bay as smooth and clean look as I possibly can ,not easy with a vrt in the very tight rado bay. All parts are here now just need time to fabricate and get it all fitted.. Pics Intake and rocker will be colour coded too so should look neat and tidy,,1 point

It is absolutely brilliant! Still using any excuse just to go out and drive the thing some blurb and pics: For the benefit of some who asked about the stealth turbo: Firtly, I must say the level of service is top notch and I can't recommend the stealth guys enough. Vince and co spent a long time explaining everything that had been done, the reasons why and how to maintain the vehicle, recommending the best plugs, oil, etc. it was obvious that a hell of a lot of work had gone in to the car, and IMO it represented excellent value for money if you're seriously considering turbo but don't feel1 point -
Nice to see some1 spending the time and money sorting it instead of just breaking it :-) good on ya chap ;-) Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk1 point
