I am potentially after a full loom for the vr6 obd2 engine. preferably with out an immboliser. Will also be after the ecu and light loom. price depending. Thanks.

Started to re feed the wires through the car. how ever i dont think i have been sold a complete loom. As i seem to be missing some of the connectors that go into the back of the fuse box. I am missing the following letters. B, T, V, W, X and some others i think. Its all i can remember for now.

I am after some habdbrake cable clips that attach the cable onto the rear caliper. I appear to have missed place mine after moving the garage around.... Realised that i am missing part of the caliper for the handbrake cable. The clip that the green arrow is pointing too. So that has put a hold on it. does anyone know if they have a part number or if I can get one from somewhere? I have also found that the VR loom is shorter than my old Ibiza loom, So I need to cut through the bulkhead behind the fuse box and feed it through. So have cleaned it up and ordered a hole cutter/ cone cutter. I can either put the hole next to the brake server or next to the ECU. Will also need to find a rubber bung to put in th

Been busy recently with getting a new job and holidays. However, whenever I have had some free time I have been playing with the wiring. I started to stripe apart the light loom from the engine loom off the Ibiza wiring, however it was too entangled. So in the end I have ended up buying a light loom for the vr6, then cutting off the light connectors off both sets of loom, and re-soldering the Ibiza light connectors to the vr6 loom. Will get around to uploading some pictures soon.

Hi all. I am potentially after the headlight loom for my conversion. as i bought an engine loom and it was meant to come with the light loom as well, however it did not. The engine loom I have is from an OBD2 so unsure if I need an OBD2 light loom or if the OBD1 fits? Doesn't have to come with fogs, prefer if it doesn't as I will only be cutting off the connectors. Thanks

Hi Guys, I am doing an engine conversion on my mk2 Ibiza and putting in the vr6. I have both engine looms out of the cars. Wondering if it is possible to cut off the connections for the lights off my Ibiza and put them onto the golf loom? If it is, would it matter if I put the N/S connector off the Ibiza onto the O/S wires on the Golf? As I am unsure on which side is which for the golf loom. I have tried to separate the two looms out the the Ibiza but the light one is too entwined in the engine loom. Thanks.

Been busy recently. so not had time to update this as much as i would of liked. Managed to get the old wiring out of the Ibiza after a bit of trouble. I have also got an old engine loom out of a vr. I have managed to work out the fuse box connections for that. I am now in the process of trying to separate the lighting loom off the Ibiza loom. As that's the only bit of wiring i don't have. And oh my days it is a pain!! Hoping to get the wiring in by end of Feb and its onto the engine after that....

I need the clips that hold the handbrake cable in place on the calipers. I only have the top one and need the bottom one. Thanks for help.

After fitting the handbrake cables, I realised i seem to be missing one of the clips? Does anyone know what the part number maybe or if anyone has one? Ones this is done I believe I will be moving onto the wiring. Any help with this would be much appriciated as the wiring is what i am dreading the most. I believe it is a plug and play job, so no dash wiring is needing too be changed, and i have a new engine look to use as well.

would it be possible to take a picture of the caliper where the hand brake attachs. As i think i am missing one of the clips. cheers.

Sorted it out today. Thanks for the advice. wasnt as hard as i thought it would have been to be honest. Worst bit was getting the bolts freed off.
