Right guys some advise needed regarding turbo's I have inter cooler and Pipe work all made, manifold and turbo but I don't want to use that as it's an eBay jobbie!! Oil cooler ready aswell, I only want around 300bhp so it's useable and reliable, so what turbo as I don't want an external waster gate either and can I just hav a better head gasket with out a spacer plate?and regards to a maf housing can I just run it as u normally would but off the turbo inlet instead? Disconnect the battery leave for 10 mins or so reconnect turn the ignition on U'll hear the steeper motor click a few times start it leave it to idle then all should be ok Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

When it's stripped check the crank for any scoring and fit a genuine set of bearing recommended oil is 5/30 long life or 5/40 but u can get that from the dealer, not sure on the belt tho although I know on my vr6 the belts for ac and no ac r different ribbed both sides for ac and normal for with out could explane why is so tight?! I wouldt b convinced the bearings were right to be honest id go main dealer mate the engine r pretty much bullet proof £50 sound to cheap for quality parts aswell Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
