    Just ordered some hockey pucks to raise the engine as I've found that after fitting a lower strut brace the gearbox diff sits very close and on hard acceleration there's a bad vibration only had it since the brace fitted Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Yea sounds about right lol them 8 speeds we have had a few come in going in to default mode etc can't even get gear oil for them complete box at 5k plus cars get worse every year!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Yea terrible the smg'2 r bit better the zf boxes in later ones r shite aswell leaky sump pans etc, stick with manuals I say Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    So I nearly parted with money for this a 330i m sport 2002 model thought could b a good replacement 4 my vr6 I managed all of about 10 miles b4 it developed g box issues it's an auto tip box torque converters knackered took me am hour to get home which normally takes me 10 mins!!!! So I drove it bk work the nxt day and swiftly handed to keys back, so I'll keep my trusty golf and keep plodding along with it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Stick to manual DSG's r temperamental and extremely costly when they go wrong also can b jerky/hardwork to live with that's my opinion work for a gearbox specialist Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Mate if I'd of known earlier I just binned a perfectly good heater box!!! Scrapped the car as had no interest in it frustrating!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
