    The catch can does what it says, catches the oil, rather than burning it off through the induction system.

    You'll need a 4 pot gearbox for starters if you go s3 lump.

    Been working on my exhaust manifold while i decide what to do about my turbo. I bought another turbosmart wastegate, exactly the same as my other 1, because it worked out cheaper to buy another new 1, than to sell my 1 and buy a larger 'gate?! So set about modding the manifold, ended up with something that looked like this It fits ok, just need to go back to the mk3 servo and m/cylinder as theres just not enough room with the larger r32 servo there. Just got to weld it up, do the above, fit another new clutch m/cyl! And work out what to do about me tub. Might just rebuild it, run it at bill

    Damn!! This sounds like it could get interesting, and me an me car are possibly going to miss out on all the fun :-( Would be good to see the difference in times between the 3 cars, all varying mods/set-ups.

    Blimey! Well as much as you want to pay, you see engines with 5 figure miles on going for £300, so if you paid anything up to say £1000 for your 1 i don't think it would be a bad deal. You think what a rebuild would cost to get a engine almost back to fresh, brand new.

    I think you'll need some serious arch rolling going on mate! The higher the et, the further the wheel is under the arch! But i love em', make them fit!! :-)
