    Yep, you were right mate, something simple stikes again!! Jack it up after a spin round the block this morning and saw that the exhaust has been rubbing on the first part of the prop. And that was what that terrible noise was! Took it up the workshop and made the 2 dump pipes that run off of the wastegates, and fitted a rubber anti-vibration mount to the exhaust to stop it rubbing the prop. Exhaust feels nice n tight now, might fit 1 more to it at a later date. And the noise has stopped!! Once i'd finished, i took it for a good blat home. Boost was held at a constant 0.5 bar (both wastegates

    I've got a hub nut socket, and driveshaft spine tool! And a breaker bar that will undo them. And an impact gun. I've got most tools to do the work mate, stop panicing!!

    Why? Pay on the gate like the rest of us. You can come up for the friday night and be back saturday if time is tight or just go for it and stay the weekend. Yeah come along mate, you know you want to!!! Its going to be an amazing weekend, great people, great cars, great laughs!! And this is my first year. :-)

    It probably has a gorse on the bottmo of it, but i don't think that will cause any problems tbh.

    Looking good. Shame about the h/g going, but it will give you a chance to play with the head when its off. Open the old girl up! Does your engine have 4 wires on the maf, or 6? Maf is located after the air filter, and before the throttle body?

    Nice 1 mate, never seen the advert for that film before!! But yeah, convoy all the way. I will finish work around 5, could be ready to leave mine by 5.50, so hopefully at winchester by 6.15. It should stay light until 9, 9.30 ish so we'll be ok for tent erections... :-) he he, i said erection, lol!! :-)

    Took me car out for a drive earlier, and i think its sorted the boost prblems, but didn't really get far as its making the biggest loudest screeching whilest driving!! And it judders when pulling away in 1st gear. So atm not too good. But the weekends here so i can have a look an see what the problems are and if i can fix them. :-(

    Ask Vrstig, he had a r32 charged mk2, i think storm developments did the conversion for him, but you'll have to check!

    Right, got the rebuild kit for my turbo yesterday, so spent the evening rebuilding it, then fitted it back in my car. 360 degree thrust bearing And a vid, hope it works, don't know how the sounds come out too.
