    R32 into mk2

hi, Been away for a while as i sold my VR6 a few years back and have regretted it ever since !! Have recently been looking at buying a R32 but loved my old Mk2 golf Gti. So thinking i might combine the best shape with the best engine (in my opinion) Ideally i want to pay someone to carry out the coversion. Can anyone recommend a company they've already used for this conversion? What sort of money am i looking at? The Phirm are only two miles down the road from me, can anyone recommend these guys? Dont see a R32 conversion on their site though ;( Before anyone mentions it I dont want a 1.8 t
  4. If cracking on drilled discs was that bigger problem they would never have got Tuv approval.
  5. Hi, Im planning to upgrade my brakes in the next few weeks, is the black diamond gear worth the money? Have seen other makes of grooved & drilled discs for a lot less money. Do you get what you pay for or are they just the latest fashion? Thanks
  6. I read somewhere on here that all Vr6's built after 95 were galvanised. *-) Mines a 95 and i have the same problem.
  7. Im planning to smooth out my Mk3 and would like start by removing the rear spoiler over the window. Had a look today and couldnt see any fixings?? How easy is it to remove does anybody know? If its bonded on im guessing a second hand tail gate might be a better option?? Thanks
  8. Rubber gromets in mine are almost falling out due to rust and were advised on MOT. Time to get the welder out i think
