  1. Welcome to the club. That looks like one clean bay, what colour is that?
  2. I used to run 330mm AP Racing brakes so the diameter will not pose an issue.
  3. There's no way of knowing until you try them. Some wheels of the same size fit different to others, for example Compmotive and team dynamics will usually have more clearance than the same size BBS. It's all down to the profile of the back of the spokes.
  4. Looks well smart on those speedlines, loads better, not a fan of steel wheels.
  5. 17x8 are ok as long as you dont go lower than et30. I used to run 215/40/17 with mild arch rolling on back just to push the lip up.
  6. Looks like you have had a difficult time with it. I think the fact you have stuck with it is a real testament to your commitment. Hope things start to go better for you.
  7. Big injectors and a decent fuel pump like the 400lph walbro intank will also allow you to add plenty of fuel to keep the exhaust temps down.
  8. Get the boost turned up. The stock rods and Pistons are good for 100 bhp per cylinder. What compression does your spacer plate drop the compression to? If it's a 9:1 like I have in my 3.2 you may want to consider water meth when running over 1 bar to reduce the changes of det.
  9. Cars looking good mate what standalone did you go for?
  10. Not sure what happend to it but looks like Alex is doing a Audi S3 2.0 TFSI big turbo build now.
  11. Yeh will be fine, some heat shrink and it will be a nice neat job.
  12. It's a simple job of putting it in the place of the standard pump, I've used zip ties before, chemical metal. I would advise you reuse the standard piping as the little rigid pipe you get is useless.
  13. Not to be offensive but in my experience parada spec2's are crap, get them swapped for some federal 595rsr's and your times are sure to fall. Camskill sell them for £106 for 215/40/17 so there a bargain as far as track tyres go. A LSD will also help you out in the traction department.
  14. I found that the original one was fine but you could replace if you wish for peice of mind, they are not something that usually go wrong.
  15. With the UM 440/630 tune all you need is the standard obd2 3 bar regulator. I had no issues for 3 years but have now put fully forged motor in bacause want to go for 700bhp now. Arp's are worth it when your protecting a 5 grand motor build but pretty pointless on a standard motor that can be picked up for peanuts.
  16. I used c2 motorsports 630cc file standard pistons, rods, spacer plate 8.5:1 no Arp bolts 24psi making over 500bhp no issues 3 years down the line.
  17. Just a universal kit of eBay should suffice.
  18. would not recommend that head gasket on a turbo'd vr6, I would use the newer style mls one every time
  19. I have 044 and 2L swirl pot in my garage took it off because it is too noisy.
  20. Yes there is intank options for example I've had Walbro 255 and now 455 the 255 is good for 500bhp and the 455 for 1000bhp both fit in you standard tank swirl pot and cost around £100.
  21. Never had an auto vr6, are the coolent pipes defiantly different?
