  1. Sorry to correct, but uk helix 02a is 4 puck clutch and 02m is a 5 puck I know because I have/had both. Also I have garrett GT3582r with 0.82AR and can say it is a really good turbo currently run up to 25psi at the minute, loving the results.
  2. Torque x revs devided by 5252.
  3. I think this thread may have taken a wrong turn, I think it is unfair for anyone to devalue anyone else's advice. I have noticed some people research the subject then try and advise when really one should only advise on personal experiences.
  4. I must agree on the injector front could not pay me to run Bosch 440's. if your going to run UM I would run Siemens 630cc
  5. I had lots of good fun for years without LSD and keep it under on/under 400bhp and gearbox should be fine. Although clutch is needed with much over 300bhp.
  6. Could you post a couple of stickers too as don't have any and would look good on the stand.
  7. It can be done for £1000 as him potter showed us all but the reality is if you are planning on keeping the car for a long time about £3000 should secure you some quality components eg. Fueling kit (injectors, maf, chip) £750 Garrett GT3582r £1000 Tail wastegate £200 Large universal intercooler £100 Recirculating bov £100 Down pipe stainless parts £150 Oil lines and water £50 Intercooler piping and clamps £200 Head spacer with MLS gasket £100 Standard head bolts£20 Fuel pump £125 eBay ATP style manifold £100 Maybe Sri £250 I just saved up and bought each bit when I had the spare c
  8. Agreed the verdistein setanta's are a good tyre.
  9. I would buy the full kit the standard pressure plate will not have the clamping force required to run the 4 puck friction plate, the reason they sell them seperate is for second time round when your looking to replace your looking to renew like for like.
  10. I agree dog poo in the wet, best all round tyre I have found is good year eagle gsd3.
  11. I have ran a Walbro 255 with 495bhp and Bosch 044's are good for about 800bhp that is my overkill thinking.
  12. Yes it is fine slightly heavier and need a couple more revs for smoother engagement but that's just life if you want 400bhp lol.
  13. Valid point on the old search rather than post, but surely it's the daily posts that keep the forum alive.
  14. ^^^ agreed on the software side of life, although a Walbro 255 in tank pump would properly be best for your and a 044 would be very noisy and slight overkill.
  15. Well put D@aVeR6, I think the economic down turn means no one has the spare cash no more and you can just as easily buy a 2002 mk4 gt gti for the same money as a clean vr6.
  16. Budget would help us steer you in the right direction, for example I had a limited budget but decided to get proper garrett gt3582r and tail 38mm waste gate as intercooler, bov, pipework could be upgraded at a later date but it would be a massive expense to buy a turbo twice or ruen a motor because of a crapy seized waste gate. Also arp hardware is not needed in 400bhp and less applications, some disagree but that's my experience .
  17. Mardigrassmotorsport. They are a helix dealer.
  18. Helix 4 paddle clutch held 500bhp nicely but the gearbox did not last long at that very good clutch.
  19. Yeah, that looks good, it gives members an idea of which modifications are producing the best results.
  20. Exited to see the power figures with maybe a short list of modifications.
  21. Ask not what can your club do for you, but what can you do for your club. Like VIVW28 said this aint a paid service so chill your beans.
  22. Cool thanks for all your help, think I'm going to enjoy this summer how it is and crack on over winter.
