  1. I love the dark red leather found I'm high end cars although the colour concept red seats are horrible and other cars with bright red leather is yukkkkk.
  2. The short ratios in the 02M will be better suited to the 3.2 engine in my opinion. The shifts are pretty smooth too.
  3. Well done turbo is good yes? Be carefull turning up the boost because once you go big you will never go back lol when I run 14psi now it feels like I've left the handbrake on lol
  4. Ageed there crap pay the extra for weitec/kw/avo/spax/gaz and they will perform loads better and more importantly last.
  5. I'm guessing your piston rings are goosed causing cylinder pressure to leak onto the crank case alternatively worn valve seals could have the same effect.
  6. i would be happy if it had 83mm pistons in tho as allot of people class that as 3litre correct or not.
  7. Looking good would love a diesel final drive in mine when converted to 2wd you find your self going through the gears very quickly lol

  10. i payed £990 for a genuine garrett gt3582r from gt3 turbo they were a official garrett dealer but think they have since stoped traiding.
  11. And even that will only keep you entertained for a few months before you know it you will be at 25psi thinking hmm time for forged pistons and rods and more BOOOOST.

    you have to cut away the front mounting point and make a new one this is a easy job if your fairly practical.
  13. I has a vr6 turbo with the standard inlet mani and it had a beutiful vr6 burble before it came into boost. Now with a short runner and screamer pipe it makes a different sound all together 😃, but I'm deffo not complaining.
  14. if your planning on keeping the dual mass flywheel you may as well keep the standard clutch as well because trust me you will be spliting your engine and box in no time to fit single mass flywheel because the duel has failed, i see the whole leaving a weak point idea but one that means removing the gearbox may not be wise.
  15. get it mapped to the max boost you intend to run and then you can turn the boost down and it will still run fine all be it a little rich but nothing you should worry about.
  16. yep the compression will be low as its leaking past the rings.
  17. Exessive oil coming out of the oil breather is another symptom.

  19. Sorry I meant your car your the policy holder and your parents are named drivers. What your doing now is fraud unless your mum just realy likes her vr6's and she is letting you use it as you have no other car.
  20. Best way is your car with your parents as main drivers that the way I've always done it.
  21. I've had vr6's since I turned 18 never paid that nfu are poo try a money supermarket quote. I payed 1300 with bell direct when I was 18 and that was fully comp and 3rd party on any other privately insured car.
  22. Who are you with I'm 22 with 3 years ncb and I pay £1500 for my vr6 turbo all mods declared.
