i don't think you can double up and use the same sencer for abs and TC, you have to add the tc sencer in somewhere, although i don't think theirs space unless you loose the abs. from what i understand the fronts can be done off the inner CV bolts but the rears i have no idea. maybe use extra long wheel bolts so they poke though the back of the disc/ hub enough to get the sencer to read them As long as it was smooth i think its a great idea, ive seen a few vrts on youtube that just wheel spin instead of moving forward lol a lot of wasted bhp
Think you can run the racelogic off the standard ABS exciter rings. what does it feel like when it cuts in? like when you hit the rev limiter or does it just do its job and you hardly no its there
There's always a point in coming to the pod. Dave is usually around 14.5s yeha come on bodge bring it at gti fest and give it a go .... neva know lol, ive got a slipping clutch, gearbox that sometimes having non of letting me into any gear and does a random bumpy jerky thing , a flashing red light when its been raged to long, cuts out now and again hahah soon it will be dead.... hopefully when is gti fest?
fair play. right everyone place your bets on how long it lasts lol :-d Not Tony this time.......Dlea broke his gearbox at the pod instead lol, its always mechanics that destroy cars,,, have no idea why, what did dlea get before it went bang?
Do your boost pipes not have a lip on the end of them to stop them blowing off? C2 can surply most of the parts above. and theirs loads of company's that can supply everything bar the down pipe and software (which C2 have covered) They have been saying they have a RHD kit in development for AGES now
oh Wossner and Wiseco where the ones to get? But now what? JE but theirs ment to be alot of piston slap ah ffs tbf as long as there uprated forged items it probably not worth worrying about
Does the 02j just bolt strate in? I know you can use O2j shift tower and cables / mec in 02a for a butter like gear change... all depends on how easy the parts are to get to if its worth doing i guess
A quick trick is to pull the spark plug leads off one buy one, and replace... while running. If the noise gets quieter when you pull a certain lead then its that big end that's knocking. You gotta drop the sump and inspect bearings if it sounds like its coming from the bottom end, Can you tell from listening if its coming from the top or bottom?
I give your new diff a week tops LOL only jk good luck with it So you've used 2 metal gaskets? not split one into 2? what happends with the gearbox? remove cups, remove selector tower, remove bolts and just split and lift apart? does anything spring out or anything else to watch out for
