  1. im the same as you.. want it slammed and to handle. Im about to order kw v2.. just trying to justify spending the price of the car on suspension. Run 1.6 neg camber on the front and it does turn in a lot better... any more than that and you back end comes out way to easy. As far as getting the wishbones level to keep the right roll center im looking for ball joint extenders.. these should help a lot. apart from that the only other thing you could do is sink the sub frame into the chassis a few inchs.. way to much work so my setup will be light as i can be without loosing comfort. sla

  3. ive got my heart set on a garret t4 60-1 ar 0.82... seems to be good mid range.. cheep (ish) Big, 400+ Just missing all the fancy bits. ball bearing no coolant lines ect. but good make and should last.. make the power you want
  4. yep doing things in stages.. first low boost set up.. then 02m fwd with the transfer box still attached. up the boost. Then year or so down the line sort the rear end out for 4 wheel drive What kind of 1/4 mile time you hopping on getting?
  5. the nut is ment to be tight fella... sorry i have know idea why you can't get reverse. Put it into reverse... tighten shifter weight, then slacken shifter cables. let settle and tighten up again Might be your cables are slightly out of adjustment
  6. ah i see... sorry thought the controller was tranfer box end... so the prop will all ways be spinning. Im talking about if its been installed in a car which hasn't been converted to 4 wheel drive e.g no prop but keeping the transer box if wanting to go 4 wheel drive further down the line. Guess it would be ok to leave the transer box on with the prop flange spinning away.. just make a cover plate or something
  7. could you run the o2m box without the prop but with the transfer box still connected and just leave the pump turned off if you wanted to just run front wheel drive?
  8. just to add it would probably make more sence to spend the money of the big valve head on a o2m gearbox conversion instead
  9. sounds good.. if you got the budget for it then its def worth doing. Your engine will be over engineered which is good.. if you go for the 630cc tune from C2 then your set up should be good for 450- 500 easy what you going for as far as drive train?

Its not needed. you can run 17 psi and still get around 400bhp on a standard head but with a big valve port & polish head you will get 400bhp from 11psi instead of 17 (ruff guess) So yes it does improve things. Would also make it more reliable as you can run less boost but make the same power. Money would be better spend else where like rods/ pistons What power are you aiming for 300- 400 there's really no point Trying to get 500 + then get it done
  11. its a hard conversion. lots of welding for engine mounts.. shortening of drive shafts ect. Not a bolt in diy job like a VR or 1.8t into a mk2
  12. is ment to be rigid to the part where it bolts on.. try tighening the 13mm nut ontop... but the hole tower wobbles around a bit. If that makes sence. If the counterweight is loose gear changes are a bit sloppy
  13. i got let off when i got pulled when my mot ran out 4 day earlier but its normally a points fine thing... no mot = no insurance bla bla bla.. you might be lucky

  16. looking good dude.. this is how i wanna make my exhaust manni but with a mig and with the turbo lower so i can use the standard inlet manni. what tig welder are you using? can you recommend anything on a budget for around the £300 mark?
  17. i donno what do you want lol.. i have excuses for loosing anyway what oil did the knobbers give you? Its normal for there to be a tapping noise for the first hour while the tappets settle in so it could have been that. some info on running in engines http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm have your pas pipes been hidden?
