    yeah sure was, i should add, matt went way above and beyond what i would expect of anyone.. to say it was fun , was a understatement. i also think giac should find another profession, as chip tuning aint there thing .

    lol, thanks bungy.. mini update, new ecu map is now on a 100% better than the last , a big thanks once again to matt from united motorsports. got some dectas courtesy of bungy, also sorted a boost gauge and a few other odds and sods now that i no it wont blow up , ill get on with sorting the rest of the car, mainly tidying up wiring and pipes, then get another pulley on, and up the boost.

    nah you dont get that r32 rasp. thats why ill be decatting it. ill take some pics at the weekend when its clean .

    yeah i have one, and tbh its quite.. not at all what iwould have expected. this will be solved by decatting ( hopefully ) , mine also requires a new rear valnce to be offered up and cut. i can take some pics if you need to see what one looks like without a r32 bumper

    yes mate thats right . will it jump ? i have a jump pack, and we can then check if its charging from there. the other thing to check,is that the fuseable links on the pack ontop of the battery havent burnt through. my freinds wife had this happen last week, and got lights etc, but it wouldnt turn over. i can pop over to you one night if that helps

    rewired the stereo , inlcuding the amp and all speaker , all at 0400 this morning as i was at work and had nothing to do.

    indluge yourself mate, get a unit and do some fabrication , but with the option of runnig your locksmith stuff from there. i no of 2 very good fabricators, and they are always busy.

    looks good to me, a easy way to tidy up a tired interior or make a reversible change.. post up the link buddy if you dont mind , as my interior is all the same colour as the car, plus i have a spare center console..

    yep you could get the bits you need for that from maplins.. does it use some sort of thermocouple ?

    snycrho stuff bolts in though and the floorpan is a weld in jobbie.. still haldex can be made to fit .

    mike you gor dv ? if so it needs to be a recirc, or as you have a maf , this may happen.. otherwise its a airleak, retighten all connectors and double checks everything

    ok, so did some logging of some blocks in vag com to see whats not happening with my performance. and guess what, its always asking for another 25% fuel.. ironically the car has a 4bar fpr fitted, so the injetcors are flat out . my guess is , that its a standard ecu with no remap. still the worlds best mappers ( imo ) unitedmotorsports are gonna have aplay after christmas. im sure that they wont dissapoint as matt has always come through for me, if anyones in any doubt , look at my old car and the things it achived . more updates to come, but at the mo, it drives and i wont be booting it ,

    ah yes thats my old one.. i changed it for a sparco wheel for trackdays. they are indeed rare as hens teeth or possibly ebay rare
