ah dude such a shame. i wouldnt be suprised if it was the slave or master.. track days take a fair bit out of the clutch system.. im also sure the clutch will be fine.. after all mine has been and still is subjected to far more abuse than yours. chin up fella -

lol jake, er nope the mk3 is bigger than a mk4 inside.. boot is not as square so fits a buggy in better.. and i hate sharons.. although a vrt estate does have alot of appeal .

you need a new key blank, with blank transponder.. as bungy says it can be done cheaper, but 120 quid is the going rate.. i think the guy i use in colchester charges 80 ish.

makes me mad that, i pay through the nose for unisured idiots. on the other hand if insurers wernt so greedy, and we didnt have ' we will claim x amount for you ' companys chasing every accident , things may be different. nice to see theres still a major difference between oap rates and young drivers. thanks for the heads up tim, im sure it will re assure your current policy holders to know that they can apply for a renewal quotation should they wish to. its a shame such measures need to be taken to assure the contuined underwriting of new business . -
no i haven't and hadn't forgotten, but i currently at home with Sophie my second little girl. so other things have been somewhat delayed.

its horses for courses' , someone will always be quicker than the next. BUT for your car + 3k you will not find a similar specced jap rocket , when its all built and running . imho 6-8 k is the bare minimum needed for a 400 bhp jap rocket . you can do , that for less with any charger conversion . but the choice is yours . i dont tell porkies, ive done lots of track days etc, santa pod since i was 18 , im now 35 ( eek ). i know what works and what dont. as ive owned enough cars to last a lifetime and all have been modded.

pound for pound , give me 10k and you could have a very nice 2wd or 4wd vr turbo.. there will always be someone quikcer than the next. time attack cars imho , dont count as everyday cars . they dont even qualify as a track car, as most of the mods are over and above anything you may find on the average track day hero. if you break traction all the time in second, then you need a larger housing . i invite you to my next track day at snetterton on the 8th october.. ill happily take you round and show you what a competent car and driver an do.. the only place the evo/scooby has a edge in a t/lig
