  3. that can ll be junked if you go forced, and put through a catch can as you have previously mentioned . as also mentioned its the same as a ford part , so you do have a few options ..
  4. you will need alocking tool or a piece of stell plate modded to fit , other the cams can jump around when retensioning everything.
  5. its not as bad as you may think, but you do need a plate to lock the cams into place . you could have th head checked , but if it aint broke then dont fix it. my car had done 194000 miles on the orig engine when i sold it.. it also had 389 bhp . i carried out the conversion circa 170 ish . i had no problems. my point is , its more about the life it has had and if its been looked after. a stamped book is great , but you need reciepts to go with it .

  8. yeah make is fine . clutch at same time as chains is a great idea. i can supply one if you want , email the info addy in my sig if intrested. did you get the tensioner bolt .if not get one , as they do go and for the money if you dont wanna do it yourself i can put you in touch with a man that can .

  11. leave the bretaher of the head open or place a filter on it, block off everything else .
  12. more miles put on the new map and its ace. i would however like to thank the moron that replaced some wires next to the ecu . im almost convinced that this is helping my random flashing dash lights . as its all joined with eleccy tape , and no doubt water has goit into the wires
  13. lots of heat and grips or you can by studd extracors that work well on these .. i always replace mine now, as they are so cheap , and always cause hassle when left for a period of time
  14. seesm the part no is different.. thats the kit i ordered for a customer last week, and it fitted onto 312's without any hassle .

  16. yeah as criag said , if the calipera re the same ( ate ) then the banjo fittings sghould go straight on, the ones i ordered for a customer last week did .. do you have yur part no ? and ill check my paperwork to see if its the same

  18. tensioner is probaly seized in which cas ethe grease may not help
  19. i toyed with the idea of my old vr6 turbo lump into a 4mo .. thta would have been fun.. it is possible, and as yet i dont think its been done in the uk.
  20. good, did you sort the pipes etc.. if not i have some hoses you can try .. then we can gradually turn the boost up.
  21. yep 2 1/4" so should fit , check for hanger postions though
  22. obd2 has a host of features ecu wise that an obd1 car doesnt have .
