  1. You may tell me where to go here, but if they are being re trimmed, try and find early vr6/gti cloth recaros, far nicer seats to sit in than the rover ones, and they will be a straight fit. No way id spend money trimming the rover seats, they just dont have the support of the mk3 recaros and IMO will never look right inside the car, i feel the same about the Ford RST seats too
  2. Im 550 odd for my R32, 26, HGV driver ,5years ncb, parked in the street, ank 12k miles per year, My vr6 was 470, parked off street, limited miles so i think im doing not too badly
  3. Look on the bright side its nothing termainal.
  4. Well, i had one fitted to my MK3 and was very impressed with it, but not the R32, so cant pass judgement. As for the remap and exhaust, wow its a different car, so much better
  5. Are u havin a laff??? They are the same seats!!! Car looks nice mate, leave it as it is once u fit the bilsteins
  6. Looks tidy, personally i would leave well alone, even put standard lights back in, as cars like this are becoming a rarity
  7. I would strongly recommend the carbonio, it made a massive difference, my car goes in for a non resonated milltek and stage 2 revo map tomorrow so i am eager to find out what the difference will be over stock. Fitting is easy enough, rather fiddly, but there are detailed instructions just follow them step by step and keep all the fixings and bolts together so as you dont lose anything, as some of the bolts are required to fit the carbonio. The noise is nothing like a mark3 VR6 unfortunately, but the difference in 2nd 3rd gear will be noticed straight away.
  8. Looks nice mate, i recently "upgraded" from a mark3 to an R32, and the difference between the mark3 and 4 is unbelievable, far far nicer car to use every day
  9. Fitted my carbonio on friday, massive difference to mine,
  10. The basic engines are essentially the same, the2.9s have a slightly larger bore, but yes it will run on obd2 stuff, you will need to swap the actual engine harness and inlet manifold and throttle body from the obd2 engine onto the 2.9 engine
  11. To be honest not that much, if yur looking to spend that youll be looking at early cars with lowish miles or later cars with high mileages. You may get lucky and find one with leather/recaros the latter being my personal preference, but you really need to look at a few if thats all the money you have to spend, there are genuine bargains out there you just have to find em Good luck
  12. The keys will be left with someone i can trust, but no it wasnt me that lost my keys at inters it was my mate Paul with the oak green corrado that lost his on the sat night. I probably wont care by 5pm sat anyhow, i intend to thoroughly enjoy myself this year
  13. Nice one!!! That sounds like a plan then, just dont want the car getting damaged or caught drink driving in the morning!!
  14. Too dark, take em off before plod tells you to remove the fronts I had light tints in my silver car and i liked them, very subtle and they were never noticed by the police any of the 4 tmes i was stopped for running with illegal/tinted/no front plate
  15. No this isnt a trick question, when i attent E38 i tend to get a bit hammered friday and saturday, but we are staying in a hotel within walking distance of the site this year due to the awful weather last year but i would prefer to leave the car at the site with someone so i know its safe and i can have a few beers
  16. I'll have a medium polo shirt in white mate
  17. It will fit but will look rather silly as its a straight arm
  18. Should be marked no 19 on the relay, im surprised that its not in the same place
  19. Ive not long got an R32, very impressed with it, the grip, refinement and all round package is superb!! Absolutely love it
  20. IMO its the first thing to throw away, id happily burn the blacberry leather seats, they are awful. If it were mine id be replacing them with colour concept black leather recaros
  21. Looks nice, not a huge Corrado fan but it looks a nice original car, not very common in red either
  22. Talk to me, blue maserati four grand and a blue maserati talk to me, its tewwy, tewwy twibs, No no, the mirrors are staying, as is that BLACK recaro interior, im not wnting you re trimming it in gay purple leather!! Bin it, buy a 32 and be happy with the stanard car, its amazin!!!
