    Its held in with plastic rivets, fairly easy removed but recomment buying new rivets when putting the trim back on, but tbh i wouldnt unless you have a few days in the body shop booked, namely the arches will be rusty even if its only slight and when you re fit the trim i can virtually guarantee it wont fit back in the same place 100% and you will see marks on the paint where they have been

    The 16v and VR6 are, the 8v IIRC is slightly smaller

    Im with them too, less than 500 quid fully comp all mods declared, Elephant wanted 870 before i fitted the charger

    It was hard work, very frustratng at times but im glad its all in and worth it!!! The noise it made coming off the M6 Toll going to inters made it worthwhile

    Good luck changing the clutch assembly, IIRC you cant. The air con pump is held on with two bolts 16mm heads IIRC accesible from the top and bottom and the pipes should be an 8 mm allen bolt that holds in the collar around them

    I have a friend in Germany who got mr mine from SLS tuning, i was about £100 for the belt, can do both air con and non air con applications, You can ditch the idler pulley and air con pump and run a single sided ribbed belt 1510mm long if your stuck as thats what im running as my kit came minus the idler, it works fine but i miss the air con so i need the idler pulley asap

    Its a reliatively straight forward swap, the fluid clutch can be over looked as all corrados had them, as can drive shafts, basically, engine, gearbox, loom, clocks, bonnet may be required due to the vr sitting slightly higher, and the front crossmember i believe is vr6 specific byt i may be wrong

    Pah 7 is good, an average over 3 years of 5.5 is better. Thats what my Daf XF daily gets

    Food was awful and far too expensive, bar the milkshakes, they were superb!! Getting in last year was lots better than this year, didnt make sense not getting in and past the planes this year. Club stands and stands really should all be on the tarmac as there is enough room, apart fron that i enjoyed the show.

    Thank you guys for your kind words, i have finally temp fixed the car, only way to get the charger to run was to remove the air con pump, so thats done and the new alternator is now doing its job!! The front bumper is on and back to normal!! I just hope after these few days it gets to inters, im massively impressed with the smoothness of the z engineering charger

    Thats my car FINALLY fixed, its been washed but i didnt have time to polish it, hopefully get that done tomorrrow

    I dont worry about things breaking but everything happening at once and this close to inters after 3 weeks stressing about getting bits here fitted and working is kinda like a knife in the side. The engine has been stripped and rebuilt with anything worn removed and replaced at 126k, the bottom end showed no signs of wear so i feel that it was a safe enough move

    True Sals, but ive been stressing for 3 weeks that the car aint gonna be ready for the weekend, i get some progress and its back to suare one. Currently its residing with no bumper, grille, air filter, boost pipes, and it has a charging fault. Marvellous. Ive chilled out a little, once the charging circuit/alternator is fixed i hope to built it back up tomorrow

    Afraid not Rich, sick of he hassle and grief, not to mention the money! If it makes it out of the drive under its own steam ill be impressed never mind to inters :-(

    IIRC its terminal 22 at the ecu.

    It pains me to say it but ive had enough, im really on a knife edge as to whether i keep my car,after the last few weeks its not worth it!! Hit a dog and broke the smooth cab bumper 2 weeks ago, pooch was ok tho, now after fitting my charger either the battery or alternator has died, and its supposed to be at inters this weekend!! Really at the end of my tether after spending over 2k in 2 months on it this is what happens!!
