Hopefully got your attention, Anyone with a 4mo, r32, s3, tt etc who plan to (or that already have) lowered their car will know that as well as coilovers or shocks/springs you also need to fit new adjustable rear tie bars to realign the camber on the rear wheels. (even on standard suspension the camber is almost always out) Companies such as KW & forge currently sell adjustable arms for anything between £275 - £350.   2. Hi Jimbo, The mk3 doesn't have isofix so you'll need the good old fashion car seat. Also, I've noticed my rear belts are slightly shorter than in my mk2 & mk4, even the corrado too, I can still just get the small (rear facing) carry seat fitted, all others fit fine. is this what kind you have? I normally put the seat in, place the belt over the lap & into the holder before wrapping round the back of the seat, Hope that helps, Carl
  3. Hi mate, This shouldn't be a problem as long as you didn't use a sledge hammer! underneath the dome is a bolt, retaining cap & split pin, can see that you'd have done any damage. Carl

  5. Hi Guys, Quick question for you, (I've had a search but can't find what i'm looking for) I'm getting a 1996 Mk3 Golf so guessing it'll be a 2.8 obd2 with the code 'AAA'. would that be right? (Not got the car home yet) Unfortunatley the engine is gone, now i think it may just be the bottom end so.... 1) Are all bottom ends the same between the different cars which have the vr6 engine? basically can i use any bottom end? & 2) I may be able to source a corrado 2.9 engine, obviously this is odb1 so the question is can i convert this to odb2 as i have all the additional parts?
