    try and have a look at shows, i went to inters and got a pair of cross drilled and grooved for £49.99 BRAND NEW. seen same ones in mags for £140? then i just got some pagid fast road pads from GSF £45. its worth looking around.

    i was thinking the same! a hundred shot of NOS.. :-p i have a spare engine if it all went wrong, lol! there are kits on gay-bay for £300 upwards, not sure which type i need tho??

    i just got a set of pagid pads, fast road ones from GSF cost me £45.24 for front.. got 280 discs nice new groved and drilled ones

    hi, when i bought my VR last year the brake warning light and abs light were on. right ive bought new cross drilled and groved disc and pagid pads with wear indicators. and tonight ive fitted them, but the brake warning light is still on? why is this? also does it matter which side u put the pad with the wear indicator wire? i have put them on the inside nearer the hub on each side. can anyone help.pls

    there has been loads of posts on smoking vrs the last couple of months. ive had a similar prob. do a search on it. mine smokes sometimes and then doesnt for weeks??

    check all plugs and wires around engine bay, may have broken wire, dirty connection etc? also check earths to engine?

    ive decided to replace my front wings, before i paint them ive im going to weld up the aerial hole and add a vent for the air filter. first i welded up aerial hole next was to mark out and cut hole in wing ready ready for vent next thing to do is to spot in vent ive run out of welding gas so i'll have to finish welding vent in 2moz!! :@

    i had a similar prob once, my leads were arching out, so i got some new ones and a new cap. fitted the whole lot, and drove down the road and it was missing all the time. i noticed that the cap was arching out on the head? turned out that the electrode thinging which contacts the rotor arm had completely broken up. so maybe check inside cap m8.

    my m8 did on his mk 2 gti!! it melted some wires and blew all the fuses. he thought battery had reversed, so fitted new one. still did the same. so ended up changing alternator. its ok now..
