  6. As your on an early OBD1 engine im wondering if its something to do with the idle stablization valve? my OBD2 engine doesnt have it so im not to sure about problems they may cause? Is there a hose coming from the box going to underneath the plastic engine covers and going to the imlet manifold on the right hand side?
  7. Id go to small claims court mate, it really pisses me off that we pay massive taxes on anything to do with motoring and the roads are still in a shit state. In my local paper last week, my local council had £1,000,000 to spend on the roads last year and the amount they actually spent was....da daa daa daaaaah £39,750! Ive actually got to avoid some roads as the potholes play havoc with my lowered car! For a start all speed camera fines should go straight towards road maintainence as should road tax. Nice one on taking pics though coz theyll try and say that they filled it long before you hit
  8. stop the leak, possibly a vacuum leak so if its stopped itll settle again i would think post up a pic of the box you mention

These are the suppliers to most places http://www.thinkauto.com/ If you can actually get them to pick the phone up you may save a couple quid buying direct, I bought mine from the phirm, but it was sent direct from the supplier

    Oil Cooler

no worries mate, I used 2 pieces of angle aluminium to make up an upside-down T shape bracket, mounted the cooler to the bracket with its fittings pointing down, then drilled 2 holes in the chassis just behind the bumper bracket, slapped on loads of underseal, used big self-tapper to bolt it in then painted it again with underseal, it now sits about 1.5 inches behind that vent If you go for the 16 row and fit it there, when u order, u normally get 2 straight fittings and 2 swooping 90 degree fittings, ask to swap the 2 straight for 90s as with the straight fittings on the bottom of the cooler

    Oil Cooler

an afternoon, once the exchanger is taken off the sandwich plate can be a pain to get on, if u screw the threaded pipe in first then fit the plate its easier. I did mine on its wheels with the bumper off, as i couldnt find my axle stands, but if you raised it up it will be even easier

    Oil Cooler

just behind the passenger side air vent in the front bumper, mines charged and works really well, oil temp hits max 94 sat in traffic and a steady 80 on a run

    Oil Cooler

Mine was from the phirm, 16 row slimline cooler, thermostatic sandwich plate, mushroom cap and threaded tube, all hoeses and fittings £160 inc p&p by 12 the next morning. Its the kit where you delete the heat exchanger aswell and easy to fit

  15. perspex can haze up sometimes and does scratch really easily I think the bumper need the fogs and inds just to break it up a bit, without i think I takes away a major piece of the front end look of the car With the skirts I think just plain smooth skirts would look good, finished off with a side exit exhaust
  16. Hahaha yellow one must be a proper shitter if its up for sale again that fast!
  17. One of mine was like that (cyl 1) as the plug was loose and the slight amount of blow past was coating the plug in black sludge, cleaned it off and properly torqued it up and all is fine
  18. Thats the exact R32 Id like, colour and everything, Id stay well clear though as it reg'd CAT D so only really worth that once fully repaired Id say Needs a whole new front end and as the newest R32 is still a new model itll probably be genuine parts only as pattern parts wont be available yet, so BIG money to get mended depended on how its made it may need a whole new dash aswel after the air bags have deployed I would love it though, with twin turbos like that clip on here the other day!!
  19. Id give him a tenner just for the comedy value and show him how to use the spell checker on ebay aswell £5000 spend badly modding a 1.2 nova! He's also recently sold several shite metro's! Clearly a mad man!
