  1. I suggested my sister wash her dog with it hahaha she said no unfortunatly
  2. change the oil and filter, itll drop down again more than likely
  3. Thats a version 1, the 2nd type is on ebay, they foam better and the internals are all brass so built to last
  4. I got mine from elite car car on ebay, just search GILMOUR, you get a free bottle of snow foam aswel, £53 to your door
  5. I had a go with hot water last night to show my mate, he's ordered one now haha
  6. there will be one at the back of the stereo aswell, either a mini 5 amp blade fuse on the back of the unit, a normal inline bullet one or inside the suppressor casing(little black box on cable)
  7. fuse on the perm live for the stereo or security feature in stereo was triggered

  11. Top of my lotto winning shopping list is a Koenigsegg CCX, saw one on the M25 a few months back, best sounding car ever!!
  12. PASS THE KLEENEX!!! haha
  13. i used zymol shampoo( i alternate between that and autoglym) and a bit of snow foam fluid, it used a fair bit as i used it neat, think i was supposed to put in shampoo and top the bottle up with water? probably 2 caps full off each. I also had a bit of oil on the drive from when i did an oil change the other week, the snow foam stuff lifted that straight off.
  14. TOP GEAR £2200 with tyres and delivered, best price ive seen http://www.topgear.co.uk/acatalog/4x_18_Inch_LM_Alloy_Wheels_With_Federal_225_40_18_.php
  15. Anyone got a Gilmour foam master 2? mine arrived today, so had to have a go on it, so filled the reservior up with shampoo, connected it to the hose and pulled the trigger. Next thing my neighbours are all looking at me, stood on the drive, laughing my ass off, blasting my car with a thick coat of foam, the likes off which is normally only seen putting fires out at plane crashes! Left it to soak for 5 mins, then rinsed. My car was covered in shite because of all the rain weve had, but when i rinsed it was spotless, without touching the paint work with a mitt or anything! reducing putting swirl
  16. bet the local garage was a mates place! Easy enough job, but one of those that is a head do and you just want it over!! Think id get a garage to do it as that is a reasonably good price. Its probably £40 ish for the pump, £25 for 3ltrs of coolant, say £15 for those little bits that add up, o-rings, seals etc so your getting a good deal really for around £80-100 labour
  17. Probably better off towing it to a garage if it is coming from inside the engine, if its just the idler pulley bearing thats an easy and cheap enough job to get sorted. If you suspect it is comung from inside the engine itself play it safe and get a tow from Mr RAC
  18. on the side of the engine, just below that, held on with 3 bolts, is the idler pulley, is it possible its that? bearing may have gone, otherwise if it is inside the engine it sounds expensive
  19. sorry mate im being really thick, im thinking wrong side of engine, link to pic is working now, the pipe you can see is the oil breather
  20. Link doesnt work but I would say it was your aux water pump, needs doing asap, if you have no choice but to drive it take it very easy to keep temps down until its sorted
  21. I wouldnt bother with a remap until (soz if u already have) you have other mods like cams or inlet mani, forced induction etc the gains arent brillant for the cost of doing it
  22. spoke to The Phirm, no difference in kits
  23. Had you been sat in traffic or caining it? sounds like it may be your aux water pump, if it is it needs replacing asap as it cools your engine down once it has been switched off
  24. miltek, i was well unimpressed with my magnex, it was quiet and all the welds rusted and blew! Could always treat yourself and get a supersprint!! They sound awesome!! Ive got a powerflow and It sounds just right, and you get it to look and sound how you want
  25. I only use Ultimate and Optimax, does seem to make mpg a little better, Ive never used anything else unless It was an emergency
