  1. if there is discolouration in the coolant reservoir it can just as easily be the oil cooler rather than the head, tapping and oil pressure does sound like Nerih said and that there isn't enough oil in
  2. i would think that they have put the timing chains on slightly out, mine were slightly out on my old vr due to a shitty mechanic, had huge power loss, went into stealth putting out about 120bhp and came after they adjusted the timing chains at 194bhp totally standard except magnex exhaust if the mechanics keep pointing you allover the place other than the work they carried out i would go elsewhere, try stealth or similar well renowned garage for a second opinion

  14. 17" x 7.5" 5x112 et46 (obviousely will need adapters to 5x 100, but apart from that) will there be any problems fitting these, i have coilovers fitted. cheers adam
  15. no need to remove door cards, the strips come off real easy just prize them off where each clip is. you will need to get some new clips as they always break. they only cost about 20p each. i wouldn't use adhesive its never strong enough, the clips work much better and are easier to remove if you need to do it again
  16. feel for you mate, i got a horrid feeling he wasn't insured, they reckon there is 1 million mototrists driving with no insurance at the moment. it seems cheaper to get fined than to get insured!! hope this isn't the case with you.
  17. if he will let it go for 2k there must be other issues otherwise he would get it fixed and sell it for 4.5k !mistrust
