it would be easier to buy a vr with air con rather than fit it, and with the outlay proberbly cheaper but if you are mad keen on the vr you have go for it.
i think you need a new seal, the rubber that goes round the glass. this happened in my mk2 gti. i would suggest putting silicone over the rubber , that will stop the leak until you replace the rubber.
got a squeeking like metal on meatal and a rattle on accelerating. its driving me crazy, possibly the exhaust????? i'm hoping it is exhaust as its being replaced in 2 weeks,have wd40'd all the seat hinges. help
got an inch sized blemish in my paintwork, went to 'chips away' they reckon its bird shite thats eaten into the lacquer and said the whole rear panel would need painting. i know they aren't taking the piss as they polished out a scratch i thought would need spraying for
ive just looked at mine, looks like you will have to cut out a section of carpet similar to shape of the arch but a bit squarer that goes over the wheel on the other side of the footwell.

hi jay, yeah picked it up yesterday, 97 highline in black, completely standard at the moment. so got to put on wooden momo wheel to match the gearknob,decide on what suspension set up to run, then the hardest decision...wheels phew

cheers,all i want to do is fit my new momo wheel and boss, i know it says i need to disconnect the battery when removing the air bag ,is removing the battery a 'need' or a precaution, can i remove the steering wheel and airbag without disconnecting the battery??
hi all, why would the stereo stay on with the ignition off, and when i disconnect the negative lead on the battery the alarm goes off .... ???? all this without the key being in the ignition cheers
hi all,what does a 'soft' accelerator pedal indicate? soft in that there is little resistance to push it down, you could proberbly push it to the floor with one finger. thanks
