    i think they don't feel as fast as they are -they are kind of deceptively quick they don't have that turbo kick in the back as the boost comes in . much more a progressive power - they just pull and pull and pull.. also out of the power band i think the vr is quite sluggish, but in the power band they are awesome and they have the best sound of any hatchback i've ever been in!!!!!!!!!!! mofo - you should have taken him out in it for a "spin"!!

    they are oil pressure activated .. self adjusting.. unfortunately if they are noisy they are on their way out.

    any one down south we are having our monthly meet in poole at DFS holes bay starting from 4pm this sunday (10th sept) .. we usually have a good turnout - this month we have 30 cars coming definately so far for pics of last months meet see here : - http://z7.invisionfree.com/tidyvag/index.php?showtopic=717 anyone is more than welcome - the more the merrier here is a map hope to see some down south vr owners there

    if it is the first time you have done it it will probably take longer than that :-( first time i did mine it took about half a day - but i worked very slowly and surely...(and still blew up my ecu :@ ) now that it's been on and off a couple of times i did it much quicker this time - only took about 3 hours

    yeah - i have had the manifold for over a year!!!!! i put it on, took some photos, and then blew up the ecu, trying to get it working ..... :-| it has been in my house till this weekend - now it works!!!!!
