lag is always a problem in turbo applications, generally worsened as you enlarge the turbine housing as it takes longer to spool the turbo up to speed! turbo's generally produce, or can be made to produce, more bhp than a supercharger, but are more tricky to fit and get right if you want to do it properly! superchargers are generally a bolt on affair and most come with plug and play generic software for the intended models! more difficult to get huge horsepower figures with a charger, so turbo is the way to go if you want oputright power, but as everything else in life, bigger and better mea
