Yeah you'd think so wouldn't you lol - apparently not in my case I went through all the parts supplied on the EuroCarParts site. I reckon he's added about £140 on to the price of the parts, things like £14 for an Oil Filter £9 EACH for Spark Plugs (Euro car parts are £3.50) £12 Pollen Filter £32 "MOUNT" - Assume Bushes??? There's a few more things but basically i think it took him ages so he's added the price onto the parts.

Hmm not to fussed about being heard i must say It's very loud with the Green filter on when booting it, but at least driving around i can keep the neighbours happy.... Think i'll go for something else anyway, thanks for the tips!

They're not the Red leads, but i think they were around the £65 mark - they're Black so obviously Non VW but from a local motor factors or something.

Well that's what he charged me, 4 hours labour for the Bushes....... 2.7 hours was for the rest of the Service so maybe it's not that unreasonable?

I'm thinking of getting a Universal Magnex Backbox, what do you think of this tail pipe design? A Bit different i thought, and could look quite nice! It was the Rear Bushes that took the time, i think he sepnt a whole day doing them near enough! He said he had to drop the rear suspension off etc to change them..... Still - what sort of time should it take to do them?? I must admit i was surprised, i was expecting £350 MAX with all these bits.

Had my car serviced a couple of weeks ago, it was my friends Brother that did it as he recently set up on his own so i took my car to him. Anyway, i had the following done on my VR6: New Plugs New Leads Fuel Filter Oil Filter Pollen Filter FULLY Synthetic Oil Rear Bushes replaced 6.7 Hours Labour to do the above: £452.00 + VAT. Think that was about it....... Does this sound expensive to you??

I've dealt with Toby / Rimstyle many times with all sorts of things. I CANNOT GIVE ENOUGH PRAISE about the products and service these guys give - top quality and very good to communicate with. Sounds like a very good deal to me anyway, if only i had some spare cash lol!
