    Try the wet and dry mate, and then some touch up paint, may take a while but what have you got to loose? If you mess it up just get them refurbed as planned.

    Nice Mark, I have the very same rims on my Mk2, but in a tinted chrome finish.

    You only need a space to keep it there for a few days before the race, as I've never had one last more then one meeting, LOL!

    Numpties, always get this sort of harrassement in the VR, but must say it was worse in My M3 EVO to be honest! But worse yet is when I'm in the Mk2! Think they recon they have more of a chance when I'm in that? To be honest though never really get hassled from other VW drivers there USUALLY the most sensible, and have a sensible and careful (if thats at all possible) thrash without going over the top and getting all agressive. I'm not going to say I won't rise to it cos we all do, but there's a time and a place for recklessness! Save it for the track!LOL I've been into Banger Racing and Stock

Plus I think your new one is better and in keeping with your LO theme! R4W VR was £250 from the DVLA earlier this year when I was looking at it, so presume it was that.

    Can't rate my Supersprint highly enough, after having both a Jamex and Sebring on it previously. I've found them to be the best all rounder, not to noisey, great fit, nice selection of tailpipe designs and good performance/torque gains. So impressed with the VR one I'm saving up to get one for my Mk2 (and only put a Stainless Jamex on that 6 months ago!)

    I think you should just sell them to me at that price, you got a right bargain! If i were you I'd have a go at stripping them and polishing yourself first then if goes wrong get them professionally done!

    I'm debating starting to make them Mark, as have caught mine a few times lately, so looking into fabricating one of sorts. Possibly my strutbraces as well depending on the interest? The problem comes with certification/liability etc... as if something happens to someones car fitted with them not sure where I stand?

    you have to replace the whole pump, and be careful with the rubber holders as these are liable to tear. Gunk cleaner or any degreaser will get it all off

    Thats the electric auxillery water pump in the top 2 pics. Second pictures, on pic No.2 check that small breather pipe as they are prone to splitting and seeping small amounts of oil out. [ Edited Wed Dec 08 2004, 07:17PM ]

    Nice mate, just make sure offset and tyres are spot on in order not to get rubbing!
