ive got avo coilover's on my mk2............ive got no problem with the ride/comfort side of them as they are fully adjustable but to change the rebound on the rears you have to scrabble around under the car trying to turn a dial on the bottom of the strut......the fronts can be adjusted from the top which is much better,....the other problem is the locking system avo use, rather than lock one collar against another to fix the ride height you have a small grub screw that screws into the collar thus holding it in place, this can become seized causing all sorts of problems (I know ive been the

she might go back on the road but as a man hole cover or something lol insurance assessor came today... (really nice guy who's into cars) It's defo a write off... he said he assessed an R32 with similar front end damge but no rear end and that cost £7500 to repair! Showed him the feature and talked to him about values so fingers crossed. Will have to wait till after christmas now though yeah hopfully you will get a good price, the car was a top ten motor,..........i know minty's old vr should have cost about £4.500 to repair [ Edited Tue Dec 21 2004, 09:53PM ]

you should use g12 plus coolent( the pink stuff), g&s and euro car parts sell it i think,or could buy it from the main dealer, i think i paid £6.25 for 1ltr from vw

2 slat for me too(much fatter look)...I think any more than that and they make the car a little dated.............I changed the grill on my old mk2 8v for a later grill as they look much better
