Went to g&s today and bought a deeper front spoiler for my vr....problem is its a pattern part and is so ill fitting that i am thinking of taken it back and getting a gen one from vw. Has any one else purchased one from g&s with similar problems or have I been sold a duff one! &|

My vr developed an intermittent fault with the abs brakes tonight After putting it on vag com, it told me that the rear wheel speed sensor is at fault...does any one know if it can be cleaned or do you just replace it

I have a similar noise from mine again when going slow or sometimes on idle....I?ve traced the noise to the trailing arm, although it does not touch all the time, on occasion it will and resonate through the body...had the same problem on my mk1&2, solved it by fitting smaller exhaust rubbers to lift the b box up higher

Only thing with a k&n in my opinion is that it could hinder your performance due to the hot air they draw in from the engine, i know they come with a duct to direct cold air into the filter but if they worked so well why do people now buy the canaster type filter now.......the sound is however great and i do agree they are cheeper than springs and shocks

i Quite agree with binliner......the vr s standard ride and height is much to be desired! in my humble opinion anyway

Am very interested?ive heard some very good things about these people, just need some dates and prices?shame there not closer to me?.. still a bit of motorway to stretch the old girls legs should make up for it. 8)

I chose the tinted hella`s,.......... thought about the crystal mk4 lights but didn?t think on a black car they looked as aggressive, I did however looked at other makes of twin headlamp conversions but most of them didn?t look as good, that?s just my view on it anyway

Have got access to vag-com but i'm in Essex. Superb bit of kit though. Does a complete system check diagnosing every fault with the car. Mine showed an intermitant fault with the carbon filter. Any ideas on what this does and where it is?

I?ve always been of the opinion that the only way to get big power is with the help of a turbo or supercharger, friend of mine has a 1.8 t cupra chip and a few other choice mods but it really does go some, did kick his ars when it was standard though!
