  1. Yes ............but its a good idea and i'd consider using one my self
  2. lol..........me to......or should i say i'm paranoid about my mum hitting them in the vr [ Edited Sat Dec 04 2004' date= 09:29AM ]
  3. thats the last time i put my vr on the rr
  4. lmfao.......you know me to well
  5. Yeah can relate to what your saying.... always park under a light ...try to park at the end of a parking bay to save on pop dents ...never park under a tree so on so on...........i often take the gf's car if has to be left somewhere dodgy.....even though its a 53plate 206
  6. Like the others say you are running the wrong size tyres on your vr, imo you will need to sort that before doing anything....once the car is dropped you will probably incur rubbing problems with the current tyre's....I run a 215 40 17 tyre on a 8" rim and have arch problem's but they never touched the inner arch on lock....you might find your wheels have the wrong et ?! ................as for suspension there are so many on the market..........I run koni coilovers now but used to run jamex which I found very good as a compromise of comfort and handling,(they are now for sale btw ) fk
  7. Nice one justin........you've done the exclusive black highline gang proud 8)

  9. the car looks the nutts..........i did see some of them at your mates workshop earlier this month
  10. that's where mine came from...i think ive got the same one as justin
  11. I still used wet and dry paper but the final finish was much easer to achieve [ Edited Sun Nov 28 2004, 10:07PM ]
  12. when i did my mine i had the same problem............it was'nt until i got a polishing kit,.....then i got a mirror finish on it and it's still not finished [ Edited Sun Nov 28 2004, 10:04PM ]
  13. Ive got a bmc, but I really like the idea of this one, the only thing the bmc kit has going for it is the cold air feed.........take that away and it only as good as a cone filter if not worse.........I?d say that will be every bit as good if not better than the bmc....and will deff be louder too....the main reason I got one is it came up at the right price...I would probably go for somthing like that if they were the same price.....saying all that there's nothing wrong with the bmc at all and it does produce results on the rr's.............ether will be good imo
  14. ive got the Tamiya Golf MK3 VR6 shell......hoping to put it on a petrol rc.......just need to find one at the right price first!
  15. Id agree £5.500 is a good price.......as long as the guy is good for the money....From my experience you get a lot of time wasters on eBay!

I did ask about the rear but as justin and mark said there is no standard adjustment...........i was told you can add shims or somthing so it can be made adjusted though..... The car in front was a r33 skyline......this sort of thing is there bread and butter so i cant see them having a problem with more complex cars....the big thing for me was the price most places would charge twice that for the same job! 17. I know this company came highly recommended from mark and Justin but I must add the 1st class service I received this morning when I took my vr to have a full geometry set up since fitting the koni coilovers earlier this week, the price all in came to £46.94 including before and after printouts.....the car now drives 110% better They are just off the a13 in Rainham Essex.....well worth a trip if you need this sort of work done
  18. Have just read the feature on your vento in this months vw motoring.......well done mate,....she look very nice
  19. Ive tried a couple of filters on my vr.....i still think one of the best would be ducting into the wing with a cone filter on the end(lots of cold air)...somthing minty used to have with very good results but saying all that,... i now have a bmc kit and am very very pleased with it ..........if its noise your after then get a super ram air as its unbeatable...i know i had one [ Edited Thu Nov 25 2004, 10:59PM ] [ Edited Thu Nov 25 2004, 11:00PM ]
  20. ive always been told that vdub's get better with age....just look at the rr figures...........I know my 16v and mk1 both have 180k and pull like train's .........ive read the vr's are more than capable of 200k+ if well maintained......I?d like to think mine will get there one day with out to much trouble any way
