    Best way to find out if it's the right price is advertice it and see what the response is... the timing chains being done is a good selling point but people will still be put off by the bodywork even though it's fairly cheap to fix. Maybe you could get a quote for the repairs to show interested parties what it will cost?

    He's wrong. The front camber is adjustable on a mk3 golf. If you don't know anywhere more local I'd take it to Elite in rainham they'll set the camber and alignment up for around £50 I wouldnt go back to that garage he sounds like an idiot!

    the green highline on ebay I contacted because I was interested in buying it and I mentioned that it wouldnt be a highline etc but that didnt bother me as the spec was similar and he insisted it said highline on the logbook!

    not all air con systems are the same so the fact you don't have it doesnt mean your system is missing anything
