    Depends on how you drive... driving to work at a steady 40-60mph I get 30-35mpg but if you floor it that goes down quite rapidly

    absolutely... the charger is just there to pull along all the chrome!

    the transmission losses and extra weight means it's slower than a standard VR once you're on the move

    I think they just open up the back and weld a plate across a 2.8 manifold to make it like a 2.9 or is there more to it than that? vwvortex will be the place to find out but it wont make anywhere near the difference a schrick will

    technically one et is 3mm different to the other and one J is 1/2" wider than the other

    no use a jet wash... I just wrapped the coilpack in cling film and put some towels over the main polished stuff and blasted the f*ck out of everything else! Just use common sense and avoid electrical bits and you'll be fine

    I got a quote for that clear paint shield stuff and its about £500! you should be able to find a bumper & bonnet bra on ebay... I think the company that does them is called goingfast.de

    Im having to drive mine to work every day now and Im getting 35mpg but am having to show great restraint... none of it is on motorways either

    if you're going to get them laquered you may as well get the same person to refurb them

    ok remove the laquer with paint stripper then starting with 120 grit wet n dry remove any imperfections in the alloy then go through the grades removing EVERY scratch left by the previous grade until you get to 2000. Then you need a set of polishing mops (www.frost.co.uk) read the instructions and start buffing... when you can see your face in them, stop. It took me nearly 10 hours a wheel just to do the cut outs so patience is the order of the day
