Had a top weekend! Nice meeting all the VR6OC guys let's do it all again soon :-)

Over the years since I passed my driving test I've had approximately 50 VW's, with every engine going, except a VR6, despite always wanting one. The first proper project build I did was this: Built from a bare shell in about 1999, with a 2.0 8v with loads of uprated bits. It made 167bhp, which was really quick in its day (probably used more fuel than a VR though!) Since then I've had a few MK3's, loads of MK2's Corrados, a bullnose Passat, to name a few. Anyway, fast forward a few years, and I now have a house, Mrs , and kids. About a year ago I got offered my dream job as a technician at PS

Ha i saw you walking off, Sam was in the car heard you getting told off for thinking about buying mine lol I spoke to a couple of you but went for a look around, then it pissed down and we left in the early window.

Had a really good day, although i wasn't sure if they were gonna let me in at first ! Was good to meet people and hopefully we can do it again soon. Cheers Daveyboy for well organised day.

my nearly finished project. Bought as damaged salvage, really well looked after, did it used to belong to anyone on here?

For the amount of times you're likely to use it I'd be inclined just to get a garage to do the test.

Febi will definitely be ok just aa good as OE

Febi are very good quality, I have a few bits fitted to mine.

Febi or elring head bolts will be fine, a victor reinz gasket will say victor reinz all over it

Driving along saw a big german shepherd/alsation having a go at passing cars, you know barking at them trying to bite tyres etc and pulling its owner about. So I snuck up and..... floored it, . Seems vr induction noise can tame mad dogs.
